Love that you did this masters breakdown. I’m 54 and just did my first show and it’s so inspirational to see these top level masters athletes. We don’t just go away and stop working when we reach a certain age, lol!
I love when you cover the Masters. I’m 37 and have a lot of years and density under my belt and the physiques and lifting age of the athletes here are more similar to me 😊 Just wondering what exercises you recommend to athletes to build that tie-in area? It’s a stubborn fat area for me so I’m hoping building it up will help!
Was an amazing experience for me! I live in Cluj-Napoca, and in this way, I was able to be present. It was incredible to see all these high-level bikini competitors here. Inspirational! For the Masters rules, is an athlete required to compete in the Masters group once they reach the minimum age requirement? Say a 40 yr old woman wanted to complete in Bikini but not necessarily in the Masters group, would that be allowable? Or would that athlete be required to enroll in the Masters group? I assume the answer is that there no age restriction, but just curious!
You could compete in the masters group or sign up to compete in bikini open - with those under 40. The top 5 in this vid have won in open competitions with the younger athletes.
