@PrincessTwilightdash i am monster hunter boi and i will tell you i just remembered what happened when behemoth invaded monster hunter world and i will tell you that fight was great(if we ignore the dogshit frame of the moves and big ass hitboxes) but everyone blowed that fight :)))))))) dodging in an MMO game is very tricky
I'm hoping that the subtle hint the Minstrel gives at the finale isn't just me seeing things; that it's actually a premonition of us being able to go visit our crimson twin again in the future.
tbh I played other MMORPGs before with combat was more "active" compared to FF14 (mainly MapleStory2 or Tree of Savior), and currently with finishing the main portion of ARR and doing some of the postgame stuff for that, I found combat a bit lacking, as I main Ninja. but this fight kinda improved the combat, made me enjoy the fight alot, loved the Dodge & Retaliation mechanic alot, I would kill for it to be implemented into the maingame.
I lost at the nails phase... didn't even have a chance to do dps before they gave me a bs oneshot mechanic that deleted 20 minutes of fighting. Idk why they had to make him such a bullet sponge.
I did this fight as a Dark Knight- a tank. Less damage than basically every DPS class, and it worked out just fine with time to spare. If you somehow didn't manage to pass the DPS check, it's not because the mechanic was bullshit, it's because you were doing something wrong.
LMFAO this sure turned out to be a trainwreck...leave it to DMC:GoT edition (some call it FF16) to put a restricted word in an event's dialogue, too, I bet xbox players love that.
