There was a legion academy stream where they explained a list using 3 magnas with rockets as they push up, blast through armour that blocks movement (i.e. AA5s) to then breach into the backfield. Pretty interesting and fun list ideas in it
Today the tourney winner used magna guards not as guards, but as a melee threat. Magna guards soloed vader in last activation in a turn and then first activation next turn.
Great video I've been binging these unit reviews. I think they are really informative and help provide a good unit overview. Some things I do want clarification on though is you mentioned taking an additional droid is a 25% health increase but I was under the impression they were a 3 unit squad. Was something changed before the video release? Also did you mean we can drop offensive push for 5 points instead of comm jammer. Just wondering since it seems that tenacity is just too good to drop over the other upgrades
Do immobilize token prevent speed-x moves like withdraw? The wording say it lowers a units speed but speed-x keywords are independent of a units speed.
I do not believe you can. The Guardian unit is not technically the defender which means you are not technically modifying the enemy’s attack pool with your tokens. The exception is with Obi Wan’s Soresu Mastery that specifically says you can spend 1 dodge token to trigger the deflect when using Guardian.

I speak in very much the same way haha. I think we tend to exaggerate monotony when we're reading off scripts but I'd wager he's pretty monotonous normally.
