Please, do you help hobbyists? I sure could use your help. I was recently given a multi-process Chinese Welder and the company is no longer in business. There are several different brands of the same welder. They are all the same model, and are called Super 200P, which is an IGBT MMA/TIG/CUT welder. After taking off the cover, two mosfets were burned and the traces near them were destroyed and will need to be bypassed ( and I can do that repair). The heat also melted or burned or killed 6 transistors/mosfets/tubes and in the same trace as the mosfets, 9 of the resistors were also damaged. From the color 5 band code on the resistors that fried next to the mosfets, they are blue/silver/black/white/brown (I believe that to be 1/4W 6.9 ohm 1% tolerance). There are other resistors and Zener Diodes that are on the Power supply plate/Field Tube Inverter Board, which is soldered onto the Mosfet Upper Power board. The colors are difficult to distinguish. The replacement parts...are probably difficult to find due to covid supply-chain issues. The circuit board is marked as "RSTAR 1CT02". I contacted RStar and they did not reply. I would prefer to just buy the entire board, but I cannot find it anywhere. I decided I would buy some randomn Upper Power Board with the Field Tube Inverter Board and simply harvest the components I need, to rebuld my own board. I will aslo buy many extra Mosfets, to match the Gate Threshold Voltage as closely as possible so the load doesn't burn out the mosfets again. The available Replacement Upper Power Boards are the wrong dimension but they have the same parts I need and they also come with an Field Tube Inverter Board, and is about the same as tracking down individual components. Aliexpress is the only plae I could find the components which some also use the same mosfets - the Generic version - Counterfeit - TOSHIBA 2SK2837, and are labeled as K2837s. If I knew more about Mosfets, I would buy a more durable mosfet that would also work in my PCB, but since I don't, I am going to replace with teh same values. Wish I new where to buy an exact replacement Upper Power board, but I could NOT find it. I want this machine repaired and there are no electronic repair technicians or services anywhere near me, or through the internet, that I can find. Since there is NOT anyone who has the Upper Power board or the individual component parts, I am going to rebuild the damaged board myself. The components are easy to remove. I have done that already, and expect it to be easy to replce the parts once I have them. Thank you.
