my teacher shows us these videos all the time they don't help at all we are the worst class at english in the entire school and seeing these videos makes me feel like I'm getting worse
I'm writing my paper 2 English exam this coming Wednesday so this video was beneficial. I used your tips on the writer's effect question and summary question for my paper 1 which I wrote last week Tuesday and I was pretty pleased with my answers. I just hope Cambridge agrees with them too. I'm starting to feel nervous again and feel like my answers weren't good enough but I'll try as much as possible to stay positive. Your videos are so helpful thank you so much.

Hi sir, I hope you're doing well and recovered from your cold. I only had roughly 2 months to prepare for the English exam and without your videos I truly wouldn't have been as confident. I watched a bunch of your videos and learnt SO much and I feel like I did a good job on both papers. On top of that, watching your videos and seeing how passionate you are about the language made me start to enjoy English, I'm even considering A-level English now. I am in desperate need of help! My narrative writings are going well - I'm able to write good descriptions, include a sensible plot. But I am having only ONE problem which seems almost impossible to get rid of - 'Excessive Redundancy'. How do I tackle this? I have tried a lot to cut down on my story, but I still end up with 4 and a half pages. This is my only problem in the entire of my FLE and if I solve this, I am 100% sure I will get an A*. Please help me... Please!

In this narrative, you included a chapter ending (***) and a line at the end, which was double the font size of other paragraphs, as well as italics. How are we to use them in handwritten exam?
Could someone help me out? On the 2022 Oct FLE Paper today, a narrative task was titled "lost". Now I am confused whether I'd written a passage irrelevant. I wrote how a sister was supposed to look after her younger sister but failed at that task and eventually ended up "losing" her. I wrote how the elder sister was preoccupied in her own thoughts and stuff but I forgot to link it to the title. I should've written "she was lost in her thoughts" but it totally slipped my mind. Could someone help me out and let me know if this would still be relevant to the topic given😔

i just did my reading paper exam today and I think I went quite over the word count for the analysis and journal entry, and although I stuck to the correct grammar and punctuation for the journal i think i might’ve gone excessively informal. Is there any advice you have to help make me feel better? My journal response was similar to the ones you’ve written on your videos but everyone says I have been too informal and I’m worried! Even the teachers say that the word counts are very strict!!
i have my EOY in 3 weeks time, they said we'd have Paper 2 and maybe or maybe not Paper 1 with a question being an option between Descriptive and Narrative writing worth 40 marks, what do you reckon will come in the test? its 2 hours by the way, so it has to have a lot in it right?
The examiner will read everything. You won’t be penalised. I have had students use the two additional pages in the answer book, writing approximately 650 words and getting A*s.
@@Than_31 it’s suggested. Cambridge use the term ‘self-penalising’ for students that tend to go over the word count… put simply, the more you write, the more difficult it is to sustain the same level of quality and focus. But, you’ll never lose marks for simply going over.
If only Pakistan had good english teachers..........................WW3 may start before that happens.Totally not me thinking I'm funny 2 hours before the exam .
