Well done guard at last you did your best for the horse, 💖those tourist should have been moved back a long time ago your horse was begging your colleague for help, if he could have kneeled down he would have done, but you did remove that man and you and the horse faced him down. Loved it thank you! Please move people back as often as you can the horse doesn't like being trapped by all those people and their hands all over it.😡🐎
I quite agree with you, people can be thick sometimes, treat the horse with respect and the guards they are not toys they are real, and when the heors is having a meltdown leave the horse alone and don't take any photo when he is having a meltdown,I have a lot of respect to the guards and the whole army, they are the best
This guard is wonderful he takes no messing from stupid tourists. They need to learn don't touch the reins or guard. Guards you do a fantastic job horses are amazing
Those so-called 'guards' have been trained to KILL, not how to be RESPECTFUL of women, children, the elderly, handicapped, etc. Civilians. Ask yourself; how would it work if the U.S. Marines were to operate Disneyland?🙄
Children should absolutely not be able to approach the horses on any level without an adult with them, this guard was great but his job isn’t to babysit anyone’s children.
You know what I have noticed …. Other than the clueless tourists … is that these horses, 90% of the time, are very gentle with children. They can be nipping at the adults, but a small child can walk by or stand in front of the horses…said horses will not nip at them. Now I’m not saying you should just let your children stand in front of any horse, no matter how well trained … but sometimes, it’s like these horses just KNOW. God bless the guard.💂💗
So, Children are "SAFE" and the elderly are in "DANGER" of being attacked by large animals? That sounds like what is happening on that tiny Island time forgot!
I admire this trooper. He is very alert, he's always constantly looking around. I also like how he acknowledges people, but at the same time makes them aware when they have done wrong.
at the beginning of the video there are german tourists and you can clearly hear the parents telling the two girls (on the left) not to touch the horse. a few of many who unfortunately do not follow this advice.
What good would that do...most of these tourists don't have the foggiest clue of what English speakers are saying...if they do they will ignore it.....
Der Meinung bin ich auch, man sollte das Pferd nicht anfassen, schauen erlaubt, gut auch ein Foto mit dem Pferddas arme Pferd muss es leider täglich aushalten
@@jimbella9353this is a military base and this is the King’s Guard place of work! How would you like it if random people encroached on your personal space? How would you like having the reins for your horse being messed with and causing safety issues? The King’s Guard are still working soldiers, and their mounts are working too! Do you go and pet a working Guide Dog in the streets? This is the military. Commands and discipline are key!
YOU have been so misled about what actually happens there from 10 AM to 4 PM daily during prime Tourist/Visitors hours! 👉Even their own "OFFICIAL" VisitBritain Tourism Bureau fully admits it and directs Tourists there for ... Quote: “...SMALLER CROWDS AND NO RAILING BETWEEN YOU AND THE MEN AND HORSES ...IDEAL FOR VISITORS WITH YOUNGER CHILDREN AND THOSE LOOKING FOR SOME AMAZING PICTURES”@@user-rv9xl7ps3n
It’s such a shame that those idiots do the stupid things that they do it seems like they enjoy teasing the guards and causing so much trouble very sad for the horse and guards to have to put up with there crap😢
What is wrong with people? I don't believe for one second that they don't understand the sign telling them not to touch the reins. So many of the tourists are looking for any excuse to touch the reins. What is the fascination with that? And then when the guard charges the horse at them, they get this stupid look on their face and continue to try to touch the reins. Then, there are those that want their pictures taken with the horse but are "so afraid", they run away and scream, all the while laughing.
Is it me or does anyone notice that when children age 5 to maybe 10 the horse doesn't push or nip at them? I know a few around 11 and up do get nipped at but younger ones dont.
You can hear in the background from the beginning of the video, noisy Filipinas. No need to shout. There’s too many tourists gathering around the poor Horse’s Guard. Annoyed being touched all the times Just wait your turn and please respect the boundaries. Also the Warning sign Thank you for your understanding
I think it’s better for the Guard to say let go of the reins than to to jerk the reins out of peoples’ hands. It sends the wrong message to the horse, making it think it did something wrong.
The way the guy just stood there staring at the horse and the guard, with a dumb look on his face. How stupid can you get? This really makes my blood boil
I find it amazing that people don't give the same respect to these Soldiers and Gaurdsmen as they would to their own county's. They would never mock their military personnel! These are active military in a traditional role maintained for generations! Just as they would respect their county's military, so should they in a county Not their own if they are VISITORS to that country
I think why tourists are grabbing the reigns for their pics is that when they show the pic back home- they can say..."see- I was in control of the horse! LOOKIE ME' THEY SHOULD FINE THESE PEOPLE!!
Guards need to get tough with tourists.. a stern shout to move.. stop.. back off.. this is not Disney world.. these are real soldiers.. trained in combat.. show your authority ❤love our military
Write ✍️ sign post different languages so these people can read it Horses endure every touch from them they get tired from touching 😅 They said I'm tired from touching me only take photos 😅😂❤
My blood boils when noone can keep their hand OFF the horses. I am sick of seeing it. They should make a rule that tourists must stand in front and not be allowed to touch the Queens guards or animals. It sickens me the level of disrepect just for social media fame.
The tourists enmasse are idiots. But that chinese fellow was just perplexed. Most likely couldnt read or undrstand English. He had no idea he was doing the wrong thing and being pushed around by the mounted guard was just confusing. Its written all over him. So its the MODs fault. Having 1 sign in English solves nothing. Signage could be far more tourist friendly. But IMO tourists should be restricted by at least 2-3 metres from the mounted guard. Clise enough for a photo but not interfering with them.
These Tourists should Google the protocol and rules of our Country before they step foot on British soil, so although you're making excuses for him, there is no excuse. If I were to visit his Country, I would do My research as to what is acceptable or not. No excuse!
They on constantly touching the horse what is wrong with them all stupid all of them put a barrier. In front of the horse to stop them getting so near 😢😢😢😢😢
Not possible it's a public footpath under Westminster council not MOD , plus any form of barrier would be potentially dangerous to horse and Trooper if the horse became unsettled and ran forward which has been seen often .
They are literally out of control. Its frightening to watch so what must that poor horse going through. Keep away from the horses they are not there for your entertainment!!!!!!!!!
I’m afraid the Horse Guards are part of Tourism Destination and landmark at this point. Just take a quick picture with them They’re considered part of attraction. But at least they’re extremy popular unlike the French Horse Guards
CALM DOWN (@rosie, JUST BE REALISTIC & UNDERSTAND THAT THIS POMPOUS EVENT IS FOR TURISTS ! THERE'S NOOOO OTHER REASON TO SIT ON A 🐎 WITH THOSE ANTIQUATED UNIFORMS ANY LONGER !
(@rosie, EVEN CORRUPT U TUBER IS ON UR SIDE ! I WAS TRYING TO SAY, THAT THIS POMPOUS EVENT IS FOR TURISTS, NOT FOR ANY OTHER REASON ! TURISTS SHOULD BE MADE WELCOME ! WHY ARE PEOPLE LIKE YOU SOOOO RESENTFUL ? (Poor horse) ? THEY SUPPOSED TO BE TRAINED ANIMALS !
I feel very sorry for the horses when tourists come at them from both sides, touching, patting some squealing when they turn their heads towards them. The horses do not know these people The guards are very patient and controlled towards them all. They only shout when the reins are touched, which is strictly forbidden as that is how they control their horse
What's the matter with those people they can see the two guards are having a conversation but they still but in to get the all important (not) picture the fools have no patients what so ever.
It just amazes me how stupid people can be, the horse lets you know that they don't want you to do something and they go right back and do it again thinking that they are going to get a different reaction.
Guard if you read this, please stop jerking the reins like that. Those reins are attached to the horse extremely sensitive mouth. I know your freaken so annoyed at these idiots but I think it's kinder to your horse to use your voice and not the reins !!
Ver estos vídeos. Me entristece un país con una tradición por los caballos permite el maltrato a ellos. Los guardas pasan hacer simplemente muñecos para fotos
