Brad is the RU-vid systems technician. He edits videos, and holds the camera. I comment and reply and he watches many times more videos than I do. I try to make him star in videos.
IM about to redo the park pawl in my 1086. not looking forward to it. But I do have a small glimpse of hope that reverse still has teeth. I had mine shipped. They put it in park but didn't chain it down tight, so she rocked for 900 miles. I used park once before it completely stopped working.
Same here. But apparently common sense isn't common virtue. Reverse seems to be fine. no ticks or anything. So we will see. I did have a question. when you all pulled the trans cover, was it necessary to pull the side cover as well? IM trying to avoid it as it will just be myself doing the repair.
i see you took the time to stuff a rag in before you filed. my brother did'nt and did drop a 9/16 wrench in while i was milking cows. it was a 930 case with broken shift fork. just a small tip had snapped off. tractor had to be split at the dealership & costs thousands.
Geez, that's a lot of repair bills! The clay does pull harder. I know transmission issues often came from farmers turning up the injection pump. The bigger tires just put more power to the ground, similar to duals. The neighbor had a couple 1370's, those tractors couldn't keep an even engine speed.
I have a 1486 and i think the park pawl is broke off so i watched your vid to get some guidance. Thank you and keep up the good work. Dont worry about the shed either as i have dirt floor so i totally understand but its bettsr than a snowbank...lol.

Hi, I like your vids. Started to watch them all "chronologically" yesterday or the day before. I kinda assumed you and Brad were brothers to. Just a few vids back it occured to me you might be partners haha. Did you say in this video "NOR are we college friends" or am I hearing/misunderstanding things to match my assumptions? Just asking couse In the comments below people seem to still think you are just good friends. That got me doubting my own conclusions again. Also Englisch is not my first or even second language so might be misunderstanding things. Keep up the good work!
