Same mine was a 23 and my regular eye Dr has mentioned IIH every time I go see him for the last 13yrs and finally referred me out to specialist. Had all the tests and since my LP was under 25 they said im good but I'm not. Guess I will suffer in because I even researched who to get referred to and it was one of the best in my state. Ive second guessed this since my Lp last week, he didn't even go over my MRI with me but I would like to know if there were any characteristic findings of IIH since he so obviously proceeded with the spinal tap. I felt the best I've felt in a long time after that L.p. as far as my head and eyes etc, they weren't sore for a bit and I didn't have a headache for an entire week which was very noticeable for me. Yes my back was sore but my head and eyes felt great compared to before
thank you Dr Lee for another insightful lecture on IIH! for elevated optic nerves in a 40 year old over weight female, if autofluorescence is negative, B scan also negative for calcification at optic nerve head, can you rule out optic drusen? how much weight does autofluorescence and B scan each have on detecting optic nerve drusen?
You are a genius I had a lumber puncture in the er pressure was 26 had a therapeutic lumber puncture a few weeks later my pressure was 17 neurologist said no iih fast forward to November had mrv diagnosed again with Pseudotumor ceribri neurosurgeon said he would shunt or stint if my pressure was high have somthing wrong with my right vein went today my pressure was 13.. have a eye exam on the 19 to see if I have the Papaladima I'm so scared that he won't do anything and I'll be stuck with pain in my brain vision issues dizziness and ringing in my ears I haven't been able to work since April it's been awesome
@HananIbrahim-cb3wb my migraines have gotten better I'm still dealing with pressure and dominant ringing in my right ear, though both ring, dealing with constant pain in the right side of my brain plus facial tingling no papilledema still no treatment..... just dealing
