I can't believe it... I just had a Eureka moment I thought "wait this is how pwediepie talks" and I realised it's the Swedish accent LOL I never even realised he had a swedish accent

Honestly the accent wasn't even that thick. I've heard way thicker accents (even Pewdiepie's is thicker) But I do find comfort in the fact that Swedes also hate their accents. I'm Danish (which means we have a similar, yet worse, English accent) and there's a reason why our teachers do all they can to adopt British accents before they teach (or any other accent if necessary)

Y'know, I couldn't believe my ears when Mysta said that he likes the way German accents sound, because to me as a German, it's the worst sound in the world. But after hearing Ike talk in a supposedly "atrocious" Swedish accent, I kinda get it. I guess it's always easier to appreciate something from a distance

I personally don't think it's bad. Kinda endearing to me. Maybe it's just me, but I think as long as I can understand them it's okay. Accents provide background, which is helpful when you're listening to the speaker because you're interested in knowing them.

Also known as Swenglish/Svengelska, and yes it is jarring.(in a funny way) Remember when a group of 18yo swedish girls was trying to hit on this scottish gentlemen in the bar talking like this. It was quite a spectacle.

tbh it just sounds like English with an accent.. nothing sounds bad about it all.. but i think for most people it is normal to be self-conscious when speaking with an accent

As a German, this is more relatable than I thought it would be. It's good to know that other countries also hate their accent in English. The German accent is just so horrible to me personally and I'm glad I've gotten rid of mine for the most part.
