Hi, do you know if the ikea unit can be installed on the back panel? instead of on the bottom. Husband would like to automate all drawers, not just bottom ones.

Yes it could be done if your drawer are shorter enough to make the hardware fit in the back of the drawer. Also in order to have everything in order the back panel should be made from 3/4" and not 1/4".

Good to know. Thank you for sharing this information. I was going to get this ikea version but still think I will as I believe it should be ok... have you had any issues with the ikea/Blum versions

Hello, thanks for the vid!! I picked up the Ikea one and was wondering what the difference was when I saw it was Blum. Ikea’s actually too short of a cord for me, would the blum 26’/8M servo drive extension/electrical cords and inserto connector still work with the Ikea wires?

I can see straight away the Ikea unit is missing the metal angle reinforcement in the Blum unit

I have had this installed for 7 years and all of a sudden it is triggering when someone walks by. Does anyone know how to adjust it?

2:36 why would a sink have power nearby?
