Cool project...... How did you figure out where to mount the hardware? Im looking at ordering cabinets without fronts and making my own, however without the originals to copy i am not sure how i would find the correct mounting location for the hardware. cheers, Ben
Thank you for new insights with the Ikea cabinets, however, what would have been amazing..if you had actually showed us how you cut out the door front with the tools, rather than telling us about it. There are others who are watching your videos are new to these tools.
Very true comment, I should have videoed the milling process of making the rails and stiles and panel and not just talked about it. Honestly, I was so focused on duplicating the IKEA drawer front that I didn’t even think about filming the process. I am planing on making a shaker “door” for the end cap feature that will store wine an I will do a better job of showing the process of milling the rails and stiles then.
