I have had Ikea cabinets with glass doors for ever, and they have been painted so many different colours, but now, following your advice, they are white inside and almost black/charcoal outside, with new vintage-style ceramic white handles, and they look amazing. I would never have thought of doing that on my own, so thank you! Clara x

Nothing more fun than your shopping trips! I happen to have a vintage wicker picnic basket that looks just like the one you bought. It even comes with dishes, cups, and silverware!

My mother always bought me an end of the year book. It was usually a series, so that it would last through out the summer so that when friends went out of town (I had no siblings) or it rained all day (in Seattle, much more likely in the summer back then in the 1960s) I had something to turn to. I still have many of the books, always inscribed by my parents and often mentioning some highlight of the year but at least the date.

When you walked by the black metal and glass shelf, the vittsjö, and said, "this looks so high end" I eeped with Valentina excitement. I have 2 of the bookcases and they really do look amazing! I wish I could post the picture of how I styled them when I staged my home for sale. So good.

I had a 😲moment when you said that you used to decorate with red all the time years ago! That was me too; red & black! It’s interesting to see that both of us have evolved from that to neutrals. We have the Morbylanga dining table, it was £700 pounds but worth, it’s really long and it seats 10 people, its solid wood, heavy and just beautiful, we also got the Klackenas sideboard as it matches the colour of the table. Ikea black isn’t black but a brownish black, at least in the U.K. it is. Love IKEA ❤️

I'm so so glad you say Lego and not legos think that was nearly my favourite part of the video... well not quite but it was still high up on the list, especially as a Brit. The lego is great, being a 47yr old woman who still has a passion for lego, ifind the boxes great for storage in general but handy when doing a build, I've got the orchid plant yet to build, with maybe a set ot two else. Total agreement on those biscuits, the candle and the gifflar, which incidentally you guys got me into.

I was so excited i was finally able to nab flisat table today, and some other goodies too. I've been checking like every day since January for them to come back in stock. I also got a bigger silkeborg rug on super sale for my library and a lot of little bits and bobs for projects, it great to start with an ikea find if your going to diy it. Finally, all the snacks, i'm eating a moose right now.

The Ikea lamp is in my cart! It is the perfect accent lamp for my living room to coordinate with my Kinoko white ceramic table lamps by OKA, which I love. My lamps have mushroom-ish shaped white bases and beige-y lampshades; the Ikea lamp with the taupe base and white bulbous shade is the perfect counterpart as an accent lamp. Thank you for pointing me to something so affordable! I'm so excited! 😁🎉

That Havsta cabinet with the sliding glass doors WILL BE MINE. It’s never in stock but I keep checking because it would solve so many storage problems for me. Ikea Trick: If you can't find it at your local store and it says sold out online, check other stores inventory online and if they have it in stock they will mail it to you. We were looking for white wood hangers for months and my husband put in a few different stores online and just called up one in a different state. Had them within a few days.

Great Fun video guys, I have the Havana bookcases in my hubby’s office and I’m really disappointed in the quality of them, the backs have like water marks running down the inside of them, when there’s no moisture at all in the office, some of the doors don’t close properly either, I guess you get what you pay for, we’d never purchased anything from IKEA before and had heard good things about these bookcases from others but I guess we’re a little picky when it comes to our furniture, we want it to last, but I also guess once hubby retires we’ll probably change the room anyway and have it set up for future Grandbabies One Day, it serves it’s purpose for the time being. I'm sorry I will never shop Ikea again. Customer service was horrible. I bought a glass mirror and when it arrived it was broken. They told me they were sending a replacement but after a week it never arrived. When I called them they said oh no we can't send you another one just return it to your nearest store. Apparently they were never going to tell me it wasn't coming. I'll shop any other store you recommend except that one. BTW our Ohio Ikea is nothing like that one. Love you guys!
