I made a very similar setup except I cut a big hole on the side to fit wood. It's awesome because depending on how high I set the rods, I can use alcohol, solid (esbit) fuel, or wood, never have to worry about fuel. One thing I miss is a pot like yours that would fit everything perfectly (havent found one yet) - my pots fit inside instead of outside.
Very good design!. I have and alcohol stove from a cola can, but this is more usefull to camp because you can discart the alcohol as fuel and use wood you find out there.
Very nice! Perhaps add an exterior foil windscreen, or internal "can" windscreen similar to the one by the Dutch guy showing them for IKEA stoves, to hold the heat when in "alcohol" mode. Very creative!
Another alternative to using those brackets for a pot stand is to use a 120mm fan grill. Bent the 4 mounting tabs down and it fits great on top. Then you have a pot stand and also can grill food. Where to start. Kind of pointless unless your doing a twig fire. Far better stands for the Trangia. And you have never put twigs in this. You really need to use it before you repeat what energy one else has done.
