Sometimes I think you guys outside of Scandinavia miss out on the great fun of Ikea naming. The grey planter in the metal frame is called Rosenkål which is Brussels sprouts 😂😂😂
Ikea actually has quite a stringent naming standard. So outdoor furniture is named after Scandinavian islands, sheets and bedding after flowers and plants and bathroom articles after Swedish lakes.
I love a post that I learn from. We have a giant Ikea store here in Tampa Florida. Next time I go I'm going to ask for the Brussels sprouts and see if they direct me to the cafe or the garden supply. Wish me luck!
Grow your own vegetables and fruit, I use seeds from supermarket vegetables and fruit, it tastes better home grown. If you get potatoes that have started to sprout just plant them in containers outside

I wonder what the large plastic trough of the 'window boxes' would look like sprayed with Rustoleum stone effect? Have to say I absolutely love the magnetic blind.
Loved this Vlog, especially the outakes at the end, what was going on with that light?? Lots of cool stuff you managed to find in HS and Ikea. The planters, both lovely, I do like it when they are reduced such bargs they are then. Blind looks great with the magnetic strip, and those mats for £2! Bargains must see you comming through the door and throw themselves on the shelves! Everything were all good and great ideas too, hooks, rails, love those LED candles, the fence hangers for pots, the window box, the list goes on. Not got either of those stores in my town, so will have to plan a trip further afield sometime, I need to see Ikea and I need to see Home Sense too! You can paint the gray plastic to look like terra cotta. Add some baking soda to a terra cotta color of craft paint. I did one recently and added a few spots here and there with black and more with bits of white. Since yours are going outside (if you decide to do this) I would finish it with a sealer. Now that I have written this; I seem to recall you previously doing the baking soda paint technique. I'll hit send anyway. I posted mine to my Instagram, same name and I'm also one of your subscribers there.
Just to say that I noticed the home delivery prices at IKEA were cut in half yesterday, so if you are signed up to the IKEA family card this might be a good time to grab a thing for home delivery if the fees have been off putting.
You might try a little alcohol ink on those candle flames instead of acrylic paint. You’ll be able to get a more realistic effect I think. Also, if you don’t care for it, a bit of alcohol will take it off.
You do make me smile. I would fix a batten to my wall at different heights with a gap behind them to hang the pot holder, but that might not be feasible in your property. If in doubt, blame the kittens for any mischief or missing items Cookie loved to play hide and seek with my fountain pen.

I'm going to let my daughter know about the Ikea LED candles - my 11 year old granddaughter loves candles in her bedroom... a naked flame is obviously dangerous. Amazon is so expensive, so Ikea is a great find.
Hey Mr C , glad to see you took my advice and got the candle sticks, have you thought about using a coloured wax crayon in your glue gun !!! To get the effect of wax melting down your candles. Hi. Geraniums in Uk are generally annual if you leave them outside for the frost to get them. If you cover them in winter or bring the pots inside come March April you’ll probably see new growth ☺️x

The blue glaze on the pot is gorgeous!! Just a word of caution, at that price it’s possible it’s not frost proof, so do be careful in winter because it could split.

Those plant pots are lovely and all the better at half price. You defo had a snuffer before. I’m sure it was a set from primark and it came with some wick cutters. I asked for a set for Christmas which my friend got from Amazon. Loved the outtakes 😊
I love the two pots that you purchased. They will look awesome in your roof garden. I can’t wait to see where you hang your magnetic shade. There is a way that you can hang this plant boxes by cutting a one by one piece of wood and drilling it above your outside windowsill and then hang the plant box on it.
