I have just installed this and all seems to be well with one notable exception - when the bottom shelf stops spinning it is not sitting centered / flush with the opening of the cabinet / door. The angle is off just a smidge. I really notice it and it is driving me crazy! Any idea how to fix this?
Mine does the same thing, and I noticed theirs does as well. The problem is the notch in the glass shelf isn't lined up properly. The little bubble should be pointed directly at the back (12 o'clock), but on one of the glass shelves, it's nearly at 1 o'clock. That little difference causes the plastic bracket to attach a few degrees off, so when the shelf rotates and sits in that divot underneath, it's off. If you can't grind the glass notch to the proper spot, the alternative is to cut the plastic notch that fits in that space so you can rotate the plastic bracket just enough. Then, when you screw the top piece on, it should clamp down on the glass so it doesn't move. A bit of silicone might help keep it secure if it slips. Or, drill a new hole in the rod for the pin to sit in (make the ill-fitting shelf the top on).
Can you tell me what the inside measurement is from the back cabinet wall to the outer left or right side wall? Trying to determine if it's the 26" length Ikea claims.
I purchased a cabinet that is only 20" high and 2 of the 3 poles are too long and the short pole is too short...trying to contact IKEA for help on what to do...:(
It's a different hinge than the normal cabinets, but the installation process is the same. Let us know if you still need some more clarification on this.
