We put this video together because we could not find many, if any, instructional videos for this type of corner cabinet. We hope this has been informative for anyone looking to build any Ikea cabinets in the future.
Would have been GREAT if you did a tutorial on the rail that this cabinet attaches to, and I mean a real in-depth tutorial on how the rail is installed for a corner cabinet slammed to the ceiling w/o any other cabinets butting up to either side of the corner cabinet in a solo type installation. The rail installation can be very confusing on placement, and how far from the ceiling that the rail is installed to allow for an installation without a gap from the top of the cabinet to the ceiling. Please respond as I'm installing at this very moment. Thanks
UPDATE!!! I figured out my error... after waiting online for over 30 min and speaking to 3 different agents, I realized that I needed to install the hinge in the "open" position otherwise it just won't open 45 degrees like it should.
@@laurenwallack hi, i had to loosen and tighten the screws that are on the hinge. One will raise and lower the door abs the other will bring it in closer to the cabinet or further away from the cabinet. I just didn’t give up and it took a few min but i finally got them lined up
@@howwedidit8360 yeah we have a gap where the hinges are and on the other side where it closes. no matter how I adjust it there is still a significant gap
