Frenzy OR Golden Tricorn are fantastic on this weapon. Add Subsistence along with the Origin trait and you’ll be three-tapping guardians left and right without ever needing to reload.
I got an amazing roll with it two years go and it has forever been my personal favorite hand cannon to use for fun in crucible ever since. I have a range masterwork giving it 62 range with my two range boosting perks paired with rampage and targeting adjuster making the time to kill like butter most times when I use it.
Honestly I always loved 180 hand Cannons in the Crucible, its just the range. I like 120s but need for stability and can't use 140 for nothing. Crimson is the best and my do too, ALWAYS
I have the god roll of it from that old season it rolled threat detector and rampage it's still my baby with 1.7k pve kills and 991 pvp kills I'm glad i can finally craft it to the best it can be
Stat-wise sure, but posterity has a bad reticle for longer range fights and can’t get golden tricorn. I think the two compete but the ikelos is more accessible, and has a better shooting experience.
I like the DSC reticles on the other weapons but I find the target gets obscured when using posterity, if it’s working for you though then that’s great
It's good. In PVE, I run a volatile void hunter build with Gyrfalcon and use the subsistence/golden tricorn build. Gyrfalcon gives a 35% damage buff after coming out of invis and golden tricorn gives a 50% damage buff after a grenade kill (can refresh the timer after any ability kill). I with Font of Might and the buffs I just mentioned. I have a 100% weapon buff practically the entire time in any pve activity. It's easily my new favorite build
