IL-2 Great Battle Series: BF-109G2 Adolf Fegelein Career part 46 Pitomnik Air Raid 

This air raid was based on the actual raid that did occur on the evening of November 28, 1942. Unfortunately I don't know how long the actual raid lasted but it was devastating for the Germans. At least 8 Transport planes were destroyed as well as fuel depots, ammo depots amongst other things. according to the Soviet pilots the airfield was "turned into a sea of flames) The raid was done by the 190th ShAP *(Black Cross, Red Star volume 4 Stalingrad to Kuban.
