This time my adventure takes me to Zurrieq , more specific to Gnien il-Gibjun . From here I trek along country roads to the edge of the cliffs with spectacular views. Going down the cliff have to say was an adventure in itself and navigation down proved to be very difficult . If it was not for the Malta Climbing Club instructions maltaclimbingclub.org/2022/01... would have been near impossible . An amazing area that one needs take great care as going down a cliff face can be very dangerous . This trek was mainly used by local fiherman that with all their gear they go down there to fish, now mostly used by Rock Climbers and serious trekkers!

I’ve been feeling really homesick for Malta since losing my Dad in January, what a coincidence that the first of your videos that I found was Zurrieq, where we’re from. I’m almost certain that he would have known this path from when he was younger and used to spend his summers all around the area. Hopefully I can show this video to his brothers and cousins and find out. Thank you Pierre ❤

Pierre Thank you for your outstanding videos. I have lived overseas for a long time, and I feel I know like the Toronto area in Canada , and the Montreal Quebec area, the highlands of Ontario, know as the roof top of Ontario and most of the out of place backroads, yet I am amazed with your videos showing parts of Malta that I did not even hear of. Thanks Pierre for sharing this trekking vlog. It was really a challenging one and have to admit that at times felt like goose-flesh bumps when you were walking at those rocky edges. Yes for sure it's a very impressive and beautiful place (Il-Blieqa). It is also very hard to reach and congratulations for the good achievement. Well done for the continuous recommendations for safety and experience to tackle such harsh and at times so dangerous environment. Thanks again Pierre and speedy recovery for Mum.👍👍
