So this is love, mmm So this is love So this is what makes life divine I'm all aglow, mmm And now I know (and now I know) The key to all heaven is mine My heart has wings, mmm And I can fly I'll touch every star in the sky So this is the miracle That I've been dreaming of Mmm, mmm So this is love...
@@jahzeelbarredo7164 It's sad how we live in times when we got all that new technology, but in in reality we are living in the ruins of society. At least we can feel tranquility while listening to songs like this one.
@@gracz24PL the world is only as good as you make it :) If you value elegance, grow elegance in yourself and inspire it in others. Same with anything really
Fun fact: Ilene Woods beat exactly 309 girls for the part of Cinderella, after some demo recordings of her singing a few of the film's songs were presented to Walt Disney. However, she had no idea she was auditioning for the part until Disney contacted her; she initially made the recordings for a few friends who sent them to Disney without telling her.
There are no friends like that anymore...we lost so many things as a society... :( of course we gained too but still it's sad how the morality had a huge downfall
When I was little, I had a tiny music box that my mom had gifted me from a trip. It would always play this song, but I actually had no idea this song was indeed real until now. Although I did watch Cinderella countless times around that age, I never noticed the fact this was the same melody playing. I am now 18, finding this song only today, sobbing because I have so many memories related to that music box.
Ikr, when I was in chorus we sat next to each other and I made him giggle a lot while we were all watching a movie. I was so filled with joy inside at the sight, and smiled.
The day my son was born, my eyes glistened as I stared deeply into every detail of his being. I began to sing this song to him as my heart was so incredibly full and whole. He’s now 2 months old and I will always sing this to him 🤍

Cinderella: meets a guy 2 seconds later: so this is love... Every Gay Guy and me: meets a guy also me finding out he has a boyfriend and he has "commitment issues" Maybe also has a girlfriend and is "confused"
I used to listen to this song whenever I would see my highschool sweetheart. He passed back in 2022. Rip Angel Dominguez. You'll always be my prince charming...
I certainly was born in the RIGHT generation, as I'm able to find this with ease, listen to this whenever I want and wherever I am! Edit: I want to clarify that I didn't mean that there are better or worse generations, or right or wrong. What I wanted to contrast were those people who claim to have been "born in the wrong generation" and often justifying their claim by just saying that the music was better back then (or whatever). While I was first typing this comment, I simply wanted to make people think a little, think how technology really is incredible and how well we're able to "bring back" old times, be it through music for example.
Finally someone says that. I love this Kind of music and the comments are full of people wishing they werent millenials and im like... girl! Dont you realize how lucky you are?
What is once lost has a way of returning. One day all the modern music willbecome stale and the next generation will do the opposite of what is popular (thats how trends work the young do different from their parents). People will begin to sing again one day. We need it now more than ever.
This is EXACTLY what falling in love feels like. It's the most beautiful feeling imaginable. The risk of hurt is beyond worth it. ✨️🥰✨️ Her fluttery voice perfectly captures the magic.
I AM TOTALLY HAVING THIS HAS MY WEDDING SONG✨✨👸💎🎇 okay but like imagine being twirled around the dance floor in a beautiful white ballgown, feeling weightless as ur lifted into the air and everything freezes as you and your prince share THAT gaze. Aaagggghhh I cant💕💕💕💕
+Jack Banaczuk It's called the transatlantic accent, which is something actors/actresses/singers would practice over and over until they got it. It's a made-up accent that was meant to make people sound more educated or higher class.
I ran to this song right after I woke up after seeing a beautiful dream of someone I loved since childhood confessing his love to me with all sincerity and beauty🥺❤❤
I think they cast the people before they draw the character because they put characteristics, mannerisms and traits of the actor/actress into the character they are voicing.
I'm 30 years old, born in 1993...just watched Cinderella with my 14 year old sister (the old cartoon version)...I loved this movie as a kid and just realized how special this song was...had to look up the original singer. Her voice is so beautiful. Saved to my playlist ❤️ might use this when my Husband and I do our vow renewal 💞
My friend tells me I always look dead inside but I always thought of myself a pretty expressive person. I guess it’s these songs maintaining myself lol.
People forget that when these singers were being trained when they were young mics weren't as prolific as they are now. So they learned how to support their notes and project. Which brings a clear quality to their voice and a lot of control. You don't find voices like these in popularity anymore because most popular singers do not have classical training.
@@Terratetradon amplification and microphones were rudimentary, hand made and had no digital aspect. You think Ilene was in the studio with a pair of headphones hearing each take and picking the right one? It's not cap. It's history.

@@foxitoxal I’m going to guess and say Ilene Woods passed away as well, right? I don’t want to think that way, but I’m just going to place my bets on the possibility that she either passed away or she’s still alive. What do you think?
yea, i have been on a disney song spree, and i suddenly wished that we had 2D animation again, because the other animations just look too.....real. thats what takes the magic out of it.
I don't care too much about the animation. I think 2D has things 3D doesn't and vice versa, I like them both for different reasons. The music, however, was so beautiful and timeless in the earlier days, even up to the '90s and it just doesn't sound the same anymore.
Y’all: omg this is so romantic I want to go back to those days Me, a black woman: *sweats nervously* well uh I just think the song is beautiful but I’m good I’ll stay here in the present
I come hear this song whenever I miss my partner. Being next to them is the same as hearing this song, and yes, they feel like my first love, but they are not, they are probably my last one
I am 15 years old and I cant find someone of my age that likes this types of songs such like me, I believe that somewhere will be a person that will understand how this songs can touch our hearts.
I'm turning 66 (yrs old) this coming Nov... and even as I can remember, this song has always touched my heart. As an artist, I love the animation, the story... everything about the classic movie... but the song is simply enchanting... just timeless!
I love him so much. I love the way he gets so flushed, I love his happiness, I love the way he cares, it's like nothing I've ever felt, and he wants me all to himself, and he's mine. I love him. God, I'm the luckiest person alive.
Yeah. From the last decade, Zootopia was great, Moana was good, and Frozen was decent. But that's really it(at least that I can remember off the top of my head). Disney has definitely lost it's magic, and that's coming from a 13 year old who wasn't even alive when the classics came out.
Arctic Falcon me too with my future bride in a Cinderella gown and myself in a tuxedo looking like Prince Charming and do the waltz in a ballroom with her to this song
me and my uncle always bonding if he gets home then when its 2020 my uncle did not go home because its covid and then 2 years that my uncle didnt came but then my uncle said to me that he will go to our house when its november 13 and i was so happy then my uncle came i was soo happy and hugged here.
POV: It’s the 1850’s in France. Your next door neighbor friend (whom you like) sneaks into your backyard at midnight and asks you to dance with them. Yes guys, I know it might be inaccurate in some parts, but one can dream 😂
but you were engaged with an abusive person and your neighbor would say "lets just run away, far away from here and we would live in a small cottage hidden in a forest while I treat you better than your fiance"
Ilene once said “as long as I die knowing children all over the world experience joy because of me, then ill die a happy woman.” This is absolutely precious.
I adore their voices. So soft and beautiful…But the instrumental part before they sing is absolutely gorgeous. And it makes me think of the stepsisters trying to see her which makes me laugh 😂❤️
this is what looking at her feels like. the way the light bounces off her bright eyes, illuminating her soft skin. my heart swells each time she smiles; it skips a beat each time she takes my hand. i’m so thankful to have her.
@@mochimorina7042 authentic, deeply felt, pure humanistic emotional expression is the epitome of being, and is seen as “cheese” only to those who choose to live in fear.
As I scroll through these comments on this absolutely beautiful song, I notice that there is no fighting, no vulgar language, not even anything negative at all. I find this comforting, and also I find that music does truly bring people together after all. Hope in humanity = restored for the night.
This is so beautiful. The purity of her voice is the sound of an entirely different time and world. Not everything was perfect in those times, hell it’s still far from perfect now but her voice gives you an auditory glimpse of what the sunshine must have felt like back then. She will live on forever.
