It was an early headstart for Day 2 in Iligan City! The drive from our Hotel (The Loft Hotel in Iligan City) to Tinago Falls (route via Municipality of Linamon) is approximately 25 minutes. The "trek" to Tinago Falls was a pleasant surprise despite the 360+ steps going down. The LGU of Iligan City completed its project of making a new concreted stairway last March 2023. No more muddy or rocky path, just plain sweat from all the steps! Once you reach the bottom, the different curtains of waterfalls is a sight to behold! Try to do the rafting and "Water Therapy" to the main falls. Lol!
Our hotel was gracious enough to accommodate late check-out for a quick shower before we head back to CDO. We have the afternoon to spare in CDO, which we spent wisely by checking out the famous Sizzling Binakil at Cucina Higala and getting much needed rest back in our hotel!
We already made reservations in Manolo Fortich (Bukidnon) for the next day so CDO... we shall be back for more! :)
