For today's video, we are exploring the North Coast area of Taiwan. We sent our wishes to the heavens, through the lanterns at the Shifen Old Street (fun fact: it's actually an active and functioning railroad and trains would pass by from time to time!
We then headed to the nearby Shifen Waterfalls. A majestic sight that is also known as Little Niagara of Taiwan. Just follow the "trail" and enjoy the beautiful scenery!
Next stop is Jiufen Old Street, where we had our lunch. It's a web of narrow alleyway lined up with food stalls, teahouses, souvenir shops and a lot more! Make sure to check-out the beautiful mountain and river view.
We also checked out for a quick photo-op the Golden Waterfalls (seen along the road side), the nearby Yinyang Sea and Suinandong Smelter (a.k.a. 13 Layer Remains).
For our last stop, we were in awe to see the beauty of nature at Yehliu Geopark that showcases stunning rock formations. Once you stepp into the red sand/rock, it almost feels like you were transported to a different planet! (Hello, Mars!)
