This is actually making me a bit mad tbh, them getting this much recognition and there are other groups who can actually sing didn't get to be recognized with their talents and now we have these girls who can't actually do their job.

As kpop fan, this is alarming that this kind of group is gaining too much attention despite of thier poor singing skills not even a pinch in the singing skills of babymonster and other idols. Other idols deserve more attention and popularity because they have the skills that idols must have and showcase

Nowadays songs like this is hard to hear in Acapella coz they just don't sound like the parts are meant to connect without the background music, especially because it is sang by a group part by part..I am trying to like this group 😭 but I guess it will take some time.
You are right, they are not dancing and yet they cannot sing the entire song and their voices are common, they do not stand out, the song may be good but their voices are horrible.

1 minute in and I don't get why everyone is so mad. Sure, they make mistakes and this doesn't sound very pleasant (well, even Mamamoo songs don't feel the same acapella), but it's not that terrible. I heard how bad Illit girls were from other k-pop fans and was expecting something much worse, yet they were actually pretty fine. But I agree that Hybe is almost completely ignoring idols' vocal skills. This company also needs to stop debuting minors. These premature groups didn't even have enough time to develop their vocals.

This is not a matter of hating groups who cannot sing. Actually, it's more like they can sing BUT just ordinary vocals like everyone else. There is very little sound dynamics in their vocals, some vocal skills but unimpressive. They all sound the same, very bland, no power. Playing it safe with their garden variety vocals.
