The support has been a nice addition for Dark magician, unfortunately meta is still meta

That's the most non-dark magician-dark magician deck ever.

Been playing magician with the branded engine a couple days now but unfortunately it’s too sub par to anything else, it needs dragoon desperately

Dragoon would make Dark Magician decks better, which would sell more copies of the Structure Deck & get casual players to spend on the Branded pack. Konami would be fools not to do it

Dkayed either lost hard with this, or the enemies surrendered before he got to cook.

Still feels like Dark Magician doesn't have a true boss monster. Oh, that'll be because Dragoon is still banned :/

Eh, I like the Spellbook build a little better. Lets you Normal your bricky stuff without tributing and turboing out Selene is super easy if you want to do that. Dragon Knight + Eternal Soul can be an obnoxious lock for a lot of decks to deal with though, and works great in any variant heavy on stun cards. That said, you DO NOT want to leave that trap unprotected while face up or any backrow removal threatens a board wipe.

it's always better to shotgun summon dragon knight than mirrorjade if you have eternal soul and magical circle imo

The archetype honestly only needs a negate. Since you can build a board but the only thing you end up is a banish with Circle. nothing else. What DM got: Searchers , Draw Power. What DM need: A Boss monster. An easier access to Negates, an Easier way to summon boss monster. cuz bloody heck the quickplay ritualxfusion should have been a Ritual that can be searched by pre-prep.

If Komoney bans Verte and unbans Dragoon, I'll spend my gems on Dark Magician

It's a good addition for my branded dm, as long as my opponents don't have spright smasher or dingirsu or other card that can undo my eternal soul with dm dragon knight

Bro am I the only one that's sick of runick? So toxic I don't even bother once I see fountain , I just scoop . I finally make it to gold 1 and guess what my opponents playing? RUNICK!!!! They need to ban it tbh. that's like someone going into a basketball game and their entire gameplay is to win by injuring all the players on the other team

I'm sure you built it on your own but itxs funny how no matter what even the best duelist always come back to the same general recipe. Guess there's only so much you can do with our purple boy. I agree with @Andre Perry : It’s not a Dark Magician deck, when you’re relying on Branded Fusion, Mirrorjade, Albion, Albaz, Super Poly, and the Predaplant Fusion. It’s just watered down Braindead, w/ Dark Magician accessories. I’d be all for Unbanning Dragoon, except Braindead would just use Dragoon to be even more busted. MD’s becoming a real drag. We’ve had this artificial Meta that Komoney manipulated into existence w/ the Banned List to sell Branded cards for months now… Only to move along to Runick-Spright, and more ppl playing Runick Stall w/ every day that goes by.

Always entertaining when u play Dark Magician deck. I like the way u enjoy playing DM deck, keep update more DM.

Just realized Diviner is a one-card combo into summoning DM. Do the regular combo except when you get both Diviner and DMG out, go into Norito and then Ebon, and then detach DMG to summon DM.

Dark magician spell books works well

Even with the new support Dark Magician still struggles to go against almost any top tier deck of the game right now. I mean, what is the main goal of the deck? Put circle with eternal soul and keep summoning DM to ban 1 single card of the opponent's board every turn. Thats it. Doesn't have a single negate, doesn't have multiple ways to disrupt the opponent like: destroying, bouncing or banishing cards, not counting the Circle. It's really frustrating that the only really good monster of the deck is now banned because a broken stupid generic link 2. Oh, any handtrap can end the entire turn for the deck. And you also has to have 2 to 3 cards minimum to do the combo to set-up the board. Just feels lackluster to play this deck and I love DM since I was a child that watched the anime. Konami need to give more love to dark magician because the deck needs more cards and also Dark Dragoon again on the game. They have to ban Verte and bring Dragoon back.

Unless Konami print a really broken card for DM the deck still struggling against the Meta. Or they can just unban Dragoon and see how it goes.

Question: If Illusion of chaos attacks a Palladium Oracle Mahad, can it negate the attack doubling trigger effect in the damage step?

Ok guys since he didn’t actually play the deck most of you will not have realized but this deck sucks. It’s main job is to get the secret village with ancient fairy but the problem is unless u have another spell caster under level four in your hand for ancient fairy to summon the deck doesn’t work

Why is it so complicated to summon MoC? If the deck had more DM cards, its easy because they all search for each other in some way.

Some decks work better being “Pure” you seem so calculated and frustrated in the beginning explaining what it can do, Which seems like a fail, I’ve played a few Pure DM decks with this new update and they’re OP. I want to complain about how I got FTK’d by Qtime He used rank up magic utopiforce to summon utopia dragonar which he used to summon numeron dragon gaining 13000atk then he used manipulator of souls to deal me that 13000atk It’s not funny and really unfair 😂😡
