Wow😮😮😮, Iloilo City badly needs water desalination plant to have plenty supply of clean and potable water just like in other countries...good project this 2024. Thanks Agimat_TV for the info.
The Iloilo Strait offers several advantages for water desalination. It is fed by two large river systems, the Jalaur and Tigum-Aganan, which lower the salinity levels due to their freshwater inputs. Additionally, the size and shape of the Iloilo Strait, along with climatic factors, further contribute to these lower salinity levels. As a result, investments in desalination plants by Metro Water would lead to reduced energy consumption, lower operational costs, longer membrane life for reverse osmosis, and higher water recovery rates. This is a win win solutions for Iloilo city Water Investment.
@@mdc7081That is good strategy. That is best practice done in employing RE in a Desalination Plant. Recent technology use in a Desalination is by pressure exchanger. This technology has improved recently that it became efficient in recovering the energy of pressure applied to the RO. This greatly reduces the power consumption of the Desalination Plant.
