Awesome Bomber...This bomber had a max range of 1,355 Miles at 478MPH at 32,000ft+ . It was used primarily by warsaw pact nations and some middle eastern nations with Egypt taking 70 before the Suez Crisis. The IDF rated them as high priority targets during the six day war.
Il-28 looks so such a badass jet bomber, I especially like that they put a tailgunner on it, this design exactly shows how is was a transition between the old and modern bombers.

I guess since i have said on the last twenty videos on a row that "oh, this was always one of my favorite planes" maybe i will just have to accept that i like all Soviet planes in general and shut up. What i like about this one is that it is literally what Japan would have ended up with if they modified the Yokosuka P1Y bomber to use jet engines instead of radials. And they could have. I just wonder if the Soviets did that on purpose, taking Japanese air tech (don't laugh, the US learned from Japan too, whatever people say)
Looks like you could fly from controls in rear of plane say your pilot is injured or both get injured and or incapable of flying maybe the same concept as osprey and gunman in rear could fly home.
