@@GeneralDragon011 "you've been brilliant to me these last few years, I've loved to see you become the wonderful partner...and competent trainer you are, we will have a final test of your strength noW GO SPIRITOMB!"
if my future S.O is into pokemon you better believe we're having a battle on our wedding day. i have a jolly garchomp that i've been feeding proteins 😈
Therapist: So, what caused your panic attack this time? 60yo me, after being rushed to the hospital during my granddaughter’s wedding: Doc, you’re not gonna believe this…
My first game was platinum, I remember struggling to get through the elite four just to fight cynthia, then struggling with spiritome. I think the first time I won I had only two members of my team standing and have never struggled with another champion after that. I wish I could experience all that for the first time again.
Spiritomb was a boss because it was the second Pokémon with absolutely no weaknesses being Dark/Ghost. The first was Sableye, but Spiritomb is so much better. It had to be fixed in Gen VI with the introduction of fairy typing. It really made Cynthia terrifying to fight because it was actually hard to deal real damage to it.
@@painvillegaming4119 I get that your trying to be funny and I don't want to be rude. But my grandma just died on Sunday. To anyone who has commented or will comment, I was close to my grandmother and having her pass suddenly didn't leave me in a good mental state. I apologize for being rude and I'm sorry if this sounds entitled but I imagine anyone else that just lost someone close to them will also have a bad reaction especially when my original comment was around a week or 2 before the comment that came only a few days after.
@@StriderStarfall Garchomp's the flower girl. Even though Roserade was the obvious choice, Garchomp just really wanted the role and Cynthia couldn't say no to that face
The three bridesmaid and groomsmen are Cynthia’s team. The groom is the trainer and the best man is his Pokémon; in order to marry the wife (Cynthia) he must win the battle
If I was at a wedding and Cynthia's pre fight theme kicked in, for the next few moments my fight or flight response would kick in, only to realize I can't run from a trainer battle.
I literally call the revive-and-potion-spam-until-I-can-get-enough-breathing-room-to-get-a-stray-attack-in-or-they-start-using-struggle “The Cynthia Shuffle”
Wedding officiant: By the power invested in me, I now pronounce..... *hears Garchomp cry in the background* Me: (a wild Garchomp? Odd, they're usually not around this part of th......oh no). *Cynthia theme intensifies* Me: *trembling with fear while PTSD kicks in* Trainers at the wedding: WHO THE HELL INVITED HER?!!!
@@user-li2qv3rk4i You clearly not watching the animé, there's a few of episodes where Cynthia saying "Garchomp, battle dance!" when she's calling Garchomp for a Pokémon battle
Cynthia: Ladies and Gentlemen, you've reunited here today to enjoy the bliss of this joyful day. *Sends out garchomp* Sorry, today you'll be just living your worst nightmare
@@rainbowplaysanddolls7872 I tried to figure out what spiritopb was weak to until I realised it wasn't doing much damages and set-up on him like an asshole. Surprisingly, the battle was MUCH smoother afterwards.
1. Have that song as your wedding march 2. Make your wedding dress design Cynthia inspired 3. Make the wedding bouquet of light purple flowers with turquoise accents 4. Bonus points if you can convince the bridesmaids to wear a garchomp inspired dress
I'd genuinely be terrified. Just imagine you're gleefully waiting for the love of your life, then you hear boss music. Maybe it makes sense to have boss music
I'm traumatised by Cynthia's Lucario that wiped my entire team, but I'm more surprised "Approaching Cynthia" piano piece is actually possible to play. I thought the OG composer made it nearly impossible because of the tempo.
Given the kind of person my ex is and the kind of woman I'm attracted to My Bride would absolutely ANNIHILATE my ex like if you accidentally encountered Cynthia on route 1 as a new player
If my bride was dressed like Cynthia and this started playing I would be caught between my desire to take her right then and there or run because I know I'm in for a huge fight.
@wanderinwolf3804 I suppose you are correct. But it wouldn't be a trainer battle. It'd be a marital battle. Those can be avoided with a specific move we all know. Going out for milk.
@@michaeldaniels642 Garchomp is within fighting range and has likely already arrived before you the instant you breached the window, which confirms the initiation of the battle. Your teleport mon is promptly swapped out for another pokemon in your party, or should you have been foolish enough to have only brought the singular pokemon, the move simply fails. The battle has commenced. What shall you do?
Imagine if you are getting married to Cynthia and the only way she says "Yes I do" in the exchange of vows is to beat her in a Pokemon battle in the Church. If you lose, kiss your marriage goodbye and prepare to end up in a bodybag.
yeah there's the approaching theme and her actual theme, it's upsetting that sometimes they're not put together since this is the trauma inducing part for most XD
Normal people: who is that beautiful woman? It looks like she knows you. 🥰 All trainers: no reason. (Oh god she found me!) Now if you'll excuse me I need to RUN FOR-! Cynthia, smiling: I'm sorry but it's too late. You can't run from a trainer battle. All trainers: AHH!!!
Imagine a wedding in the Pokémon universe and when they look at each other on either end of the aisle they have a battle and it has a whole background and everything
A very cold goosebump goes down trough your entire spine, your heart start to beating faster, your mind is starting to going blank, the confusion is reaching to their max point, this feeling is... *FEAR*
