I'm becoming nervous even though I'm sitting the 22/23 IMAT exam. I'm scared that after 1 year of studying some problem would pop up and it wouldn't allow me to enroll. Great video nonetheless!
Glad you enjoyed the video, you have plenty of time so don't worry about it. In the grand scheme of life, even if something happened that you won't be able to enroll that year, 1 year is really a minimal amount of time in a career that will be 60 years :)

Hi! Thank you very much for your preparation videos for the IMAT! It helped to calm and be more mentally prepared for the exam. I took it yesterday and I wanted to share 2 things - The candidate instructions sheet they explained how to fill out the answer sheet correctly. Where I took the exam the sticker with the barcode that you paste to the candidate sheet and to the answer sheet didn't had 1 or 2 but the important thing was to check that they gave you a barcode with the university you applied to. If you want to know more info about the test day let me know and I will be glad to share with you.
So a lot of the centres didn't do the "how to fill it out correctly" and someone commented that they filled out the entire answer sheets with coloured boxes instead of Xs because that's how he thought it should be done, I'm glad your centre did it, and I will definitely make another video talking about how to correctly do this. The barcode stickers in some centres seem to have been identical as well, but someone else on another video commented saying they did the barcodes wrong, so it seems to be different. I unfortunately can't DM you on youtube, however if you want to dm us your entire experience, and what you wish you could have heard about the exam before hand, we'd be grateful so that we can use it in a future article/video :)

I have three questions that I really need to know about, please: 1- Is there any restrictions on the candidate age whatsoever? Could it affect the admission and acceptance in any way? Is the younger candidate (high school leaver) is preferable over the mature one (the one that’s taking medicine as a second degree; 28 years old)? Do you know students in your university or others with the same situation (mature students)? 2- Is proof of English proficiency test required for the admission to the English program (IELTS/TOEFL certificate)? 2- Could you please make a video about a comparison between different universities in several aspects; cost, city, quality of education, professors, etc.? Especially between the top 5 universities, that provide English medical program, in Italy. I’m looking forward to your answers and thanks in advance 🙏
1) No it doesn't effect anything unless 2 candidates have the exact same score, and match scores in every single section, whoever has higher logic will be one above, if same then bio if same then chem etc. If absolutely everything matches the younger candidate will be above but this essentially absolutely never happens cause what are the odds 2) Depends on the uni, Siena yes by the end of first, I think Turin yes, I want to say TV and Bicocca but I can't remember off the top of my head, most of them no though 3) It's somewhat on the list, but all of the interview with the students from each university covers all of these questions, we also have www.acadimat.com/guide-to-all-medical-schools-in-italy/ This is something that I would like to do, but takes a long time especially to write, edit, etc. all of the information is there, but it's just hard when we're doing everything with absolutely no resources, just time,
Hi, thank you for you're video, they are really useful! I'm an italian student and I'd like to try the Imat test this year. My question is if a English level certification is an advantage in the case of two students with the same score. For example one student with a C1 certificated level will gain a better score, compared to a B2 level. I'm asking this to you beach I already have a B2 (grade C) certification, however I don't know if I should do the C1 test too, before trying the Imat test. Thank you for your answer 😄😄
If they have the same score, students with a higher logical reasoning will be one higher, if that's the same whoever has the higher biology score, if that's the same as well then chemistry etc. etc. and finally the age of the student, and if that's the same it's the english certificate as far as I know
Exam in few days and your videos helped me a lot to stay calm and try to do my best. One question tho, will i have to fill in the answer sheet separately from the timeline given, or in those 100 minutes i have to both answer the questions, fill the answer sheet and canditate sheet?
Awesome video thank you for the information. I took the IMAT a couple weeks ago and I should normally be able to view my results, but I'm not sure where I can see them. Does anybody know where I can find my results? Like which website because I checked my universitaly personal area but all I can see is my pre-enrollment, and on the IMAT website all I can see is the anonymous ranking. Please someone help, I am eager to see my results because I did the mistake not to memorize my bar code :/
There was an issue with students who put Parma as their first choice, not being able to view their results. It's just a technical issue that hopefully should be resolved.
I really want to apply and take the IMAT this year 2024 however I am pregnant and due in Mid October so moving/starting class then is not the best time. Do universities allow you to defer enrollment a semester or even to the next year? Or, if I do get in in 2024 and decide not to go this year can apply again next year or do I ruin my chances?

I wanted to know if its true, if so, when and to whom will i need to prove it, the embassy of my current locarion or the university?

Hi and thank you for the vid it was helpful, but I wanted to ask a high school student in his last year and not to sure about italy and still didn't decide yet, so I wanted to ask a few questions Bardon me 1) how much time does it take to prepare for the IMAT and how can I study for it ( resources, past papers etc) 2) I know that non eu students only have one choice of uni , so do you advice them to run a couple of past papers test, find the average result the choose the Uni? And is 50 or plus enough to get you into the uni of bicocca for example? Thank you
How long it would take really depends on the student themselves and what their level of foundation is. We would generally recommend the cambridge A level books and past papers We recommend students make their decision based on a lot of different factors such as budget, lifestyle, weather, and average score on past papers. You are never guaranteed a spot based on your marks.
Hello, i had few questions regarding the pre-enrollment and IMAT application. @@urszulazawadzka8035 yea you log in to universitaly, on the upper right you have your name and an arrow facing downwards, you click in it and it gives you the option of going to your 'reserved area' after that press imat then results. THere you can find the anonymous rankings of all the universities
Hi, if I am assigned to study medicine at eg. Milan, Rome etc. on the first round, then I have to go to Italy within few days to give documents to register or can I do it online? I heard that I have to be in Italy within 4 working days. Is that true?
So after passing the test, when do schools usually enroll? I’m sure I’d get a letter explaining this, but I need to plan ahead. So if the test is in September, when does the 1st day of school usually start (around the time, I know all universities are different)

An offer is made to the top students, whoever is the last person for the available seats that becomes the threshold. For example there are 10 seats for NonEU in torvergata, if the 10th student from the top got 50 points, the threshold becomes 50
Anonymous ranking is out on the 23rd, your results will be out the week after that, and the university will release the non-eu Ranking the week after that.
Hii I am a non eu living in Piacenza Italy and doing food production and management but I want to change to medical school of Milan . If you've been in Italy for 1 year you will be considered EU for the exam, in June when registration opens pay for the exam and complete it in September. The resources I suggest are Cambridge A level books
