When you wander off the beaten path... Sometimes it is blowjob for few whatever- currency- you- use, sometimes it is people bashing the fuck outta each other in armor. World`s full of wonders...
I dont think too many people have heard about it, There is an episode now on History Channel after Forged in Fire, first time I have heard. I think you will see this get more popular.
"Poland has sent the message. This is their house, and no one is going to take it from them." Basically sums up the Polish spirit in general. Respect to Poland from the USA.
You will cross America, the Poles, we, the Poles, created and helped in many of their wars, although we were far away, and this one still lies respect for Poland
@@Coriiander read the rules u cannot charge with ur sword pointing because you could really impale someone and all weapons are blunt so u cannot decapitate with them throw all the armor
@@formatique_arschloch if the US was a serious about soccer as we are with football, basketball, baseball, boxing, MMA , golf, Hockey, swimming etc, then we would be number 1 in soccer too.
tedd this are euro americans not some Native warrior, nativess fought on horses, bow and arrow.. so this knight event would not be suitable for that type of war.
because when the Polish knights fucked up the largest army of then Central Europe - America has not yet been discovered - 1410 Grundwald because Polish knighthood as the only 200 years later won the Russians and triumphantly entered Moscow - as the only one in the world and in history - the Americans have not even existed yet how many Poles fought for their freedom? example of Kosciuszko and Pulaski - but are they honored as they should? a simple rule - did not piss off a Pole - they were always between a rock and a hard place (on one side the Germans on the other - the Russians) - if you want to come home in peace and with all teeth - put a beer to a Pole and be a friend - if you piss him off - even your grandchildren will they were fucked
There were other countries present at this competition who never had knights in their history. The United States is a child of England, so English history could be considered the medieval history of the US.
Fajny film :) w temacie polskiej białej broni historycznej i tzw. wielkiej historii SZABLi polskiej zapraszam więcej jest tuu uuu .. ..
The fact that they are playing “The Final Countdown” (by Europe) while the battle is raging, takes the quality of this video to the stratosphere. 🇺🇸🏰⚔️🏰🇵🇱
I find it quite cool that Americans are soo much into this, considering technically no medieval period per se. Still, it's a "sport". Cool. Respect to all of you guys, very demanding discipline!
I was on Amazon searching for medieval helmets and armour and youtube recommends Me Vice's documentary on Knights fighting. Wow! I'm now thinking of building my own team lol
Ludzie, czytajcie ze zrozumieniem. Mu chodziło o to, że Ameryka to mieszanka (tygiel) kultur, które istniały w średniowieczu, ergo przytargały swoje tradycje.
In Russia (and other European post-Soviet countries, i.e. Ukraine, White Ruthenia and Baltics) the thing was actually developed by LARPers (and it wasn't uncommon for a HMF team to double as a LARP collective). Fantasy LARP was huge there back in the nineties with the surge of popularity of LoTR (and Silmarillion - First Age roleplay was also a thing), Dragonlance and Witcher saga, and heavily influenced the medieval reenactment and historical fighting scene. To be fair, it was (and is) usually much more hardcore then Western LARP to the point of combat in some games looking little different from what you see in the video.

this is the sort of sport people should be investing in, any non European team would be weird to see but honestly the more the merrier this is the best sport ever lol
Eeee tam... takie glaskanie się po pancerzach. My jak jechaliśmy do sasiedniej wioski na dyskotekę to płot w jedną minutę likwidowalismy! A tubylców w następne pięć...
So this looks awesome but how does this sport work? Do the players have to batter their opponents to a groggy state with weapons then try to grapple them down?
Seek out Your local Knight Sport team or, join some other like the UK Fairly, Certain you are allowed to join em, You can join anytime as long as you have roots, to that country XD
I can't imagine we could ever be enemies and fight against each other. Fortunately this is only for fun ;) Greetings for American knights - real warriors from America!
Sadly there has to be SAFETY... Actually I wonder why in mma and boxing its til knockout yet here its till fallen. Probs cuz 6 pounds of metal banging against armor is more dangerous than fists and kicks? Just due to physics
