does the camera produce sound everytime there is no wifi connection? i usually schedule my router to restart everyday. also can i lower the volume or disable any sound coming out of the camera?

Have you tested how long battery hold on battery itself? I know you have mentioned up to 100 days, but I would like to hear "real life" normal situation (not theoretical max days).

This depend on how many alerts you got. More = shorter. Less = longer. I can make it last for 1 week. More than 3 months also can...

EC2 can't support it due to hardware limitation. Else IMILAB already implement it.

I use solar panel. If you don't have, remove it then charge it. Install back after charged.

Hi, may I know there's an option for continuous recording as well? I know that the EC2 only enable 24 hours monitoring, but only record triggered events. this EC4 can manually set to enable 24 hours recording (not 24 hours monitoring)?

Yes, it has when motion is detected. No battery powered IP cam has 24 hours non-stop recording. You need cable powered one for that.

DON'T BUY EC4 CAMERA! IT DISCONNECT EVERY 1 TO 2 WEEKS AND YOU NEED TO RESET DEVICE ALL TIME AND RECONECT CAMERA, IMILAB KNOW THE PROBLEM AND DON'T WANT TO SORT. BATTERY LIFE IS 1 TO 2 WEEKS ,SOLAR PANEL IS VERY WEAK, DON'T WASTE MONEY. YOU CAN'T SEE RECORDS FROM MICRO SD, YOU MUST CONNECT IT TO LAPTOP. IF YOU WANT TO SEE ONLINE WHAT CAMERA RECORD YOU NEED TO PAY SUBSCRIPTION. IMILAB EC2 WAS MUCH BETTER, THE NEW ONE IS SCAM

Absolutely useless camera, gateway not backward compatible with EC2, can not be added to Xiaomi app, does not send alerts, although nicely designed and pleasing to the eye.
