Sir Robert Bryson Hall II If you go to RTX they have a lot of this stuff set up and you can try it out. For the video glasses they have people tossing you stuff while you see it all from the side perspective.

To tell you the truth, that was the first and only avatar picture I've ever set and it was back in 2009. I would have changed it to something more appropriate but I've forgotten about it entirely. And having a Sonic avatar doesn't mean I didn't grow up playing Super Mario World on SNES, figuring out all 96 exits, and discovering a ton of tricks/glitches. That's like me having a NFS avatar and you saying that I couldn't be a Burnout fan growing up specifically because of my avatar.

They missed a vital point. The cameraman. The camera would only be facing toward the action, unaware of any trees or obstacles to his/her right.

I highly doubt it otherwise as a joke you'd have seen the cameraman trip slightly. They only thought of the perspective of the player in this. But that is neither here nor there in the whole grand scheme of things.
