Plus the country is developing so fast. We are about to get highways to every part of the country. I am loving living here! Jamaica is BEAUTIFUL and AMAZING! Negril is scheduled to get 4 highways and it will take about an hour and a half to drive from Kingston to Portland when the highway is completed from St. Thomas to Portland. Plus the highway will be completed to Montego Bay from St Ann and also from Mandeville through St Elizabeth.

One special I notice with her is when we were driving up to Manchester she was just looking at the houses. The vibes with my girls was so good. She is the one who cries to come back to live and attend school. She hate the cold so we are giving it to her.Did you get a student visa for your daughter or Jamaican passport?

YES PEOPLE ARE CHOOSING JAMAICA, BUT AS JAMAICAN WE GOT TO BE HONEST ABOUT JAMAICA. JAMAICA NEED SO MUCH IMPROVEMENT IN OUR HOSPITALS. OUR MARKET PLACES, WE NEED ROADS TO BE FIXED, WE NEED SIDEWALKS , 70 PERCENT OF OUR STUDENT ARE FAILING, THE CONSENT AGE NEED TO BE 18 NOT 16 YEARS OLD, WE NEED ACCESS TO ALL OUR BEACHES TO BE IN LAW, THE POLITICIANS NEED TO WORK THAT REFLECTS THE MILLIONS THEY ARE TAKING FROM TAX PAYERS , THE MEDIA NEED TO START SPEAKING HONESTLY ABOUT WHAT IS TAKING PLACE IN THE SOCIETY ESPECIALLY ABOUT GOVERNMENT.

@august906 My husband and I have had a great experience with the Jamaican hospital and the doctors and I love the low cost of healthcare! The roads need fixing and the government has a 40 billion dollar budget to fix the roads. Some areas have better roads than others. Plus we are getting highways to all sides of the country. For example, Negril is scheduled to get 4 highways in the next few years. I moved to the countryside and I am getting used to the bumpy roads. I love the beauty and the friendliness of the country people. Today a neighbor who is a farmer gave us a watermelon. Last week a taxi driver I met recently gave me a bag full of mangoes and 2 watermelons. I am really enjoying life here. Most Jamaicans who are moving back are moving from the UK.

do your research before taking your comment to social media.. the government is currently building 4 massive hospitals 2 in Kingston 1 in Spanish town and one in montego Bay.. 3 major highways are currently under construction, and the government just recently announced the spark program that'll build and fix 2000 roads across the country and about the beaches less than 10% of Jamaica's beaches are privatized a lot of jamaicans falsely complained about don't having any access to the beaches again that's false!!! a lot of these people can't even swim 😂 I'm of no political party, but I must say all my life I have never seen the level of developments that's taking place here in jamaica I was in Portmore the other day and I counted 6 massive gated communities under construction and that's just in portmore alone all across jamaica thousands and thousands of homes are being built 5 new police stations are under construction 8 fire stations are under construction the massive urban center in morant bay is under construction 3 massive resort will open in jamaica this year the princess resort and casino will open its doors in June..RIU just open another reason in trelawney and UNICO will open later this year..the German drydock ship repair recently completed its second ship repair in Kingston harbor..the BPO sector is spreading like wildfire in jamaica..the Debt to GDP was at 144% today it's at 72%..the unemployment rate was at 13 % today it's at 4.2% the national reserve was under US 1billon today it's US5billon jamaica recently received the best credit rating in its history BB _ jamaica recently won the number one global leading destination and you people are still complaining?? Of late, to see Jamaica's cost of living as an advantage, one has to be in an income bracket exceeding that of US $500,000- US $1,000,000. The average Jamaican *cannot* afford the cost of housing in Jamaica 🇯🇲, if they even qualify for a mortgage, they will spend most of their lives paying off mortgage, and will struggle to afford other costs.
@LifewiddiJamFams
@LifewiddiJamFams Месяц назад
Your point is noted and appreciated! There is also the concept that it is purely down to financial management and lifestyle people want to curate. Cost of living is drastically increasing all over the world. There are many Jamaican's who buy and build, or buy in developments where they can further develop. We have done some videos about cost of living that you could have a look at if you so desire. 💯🎶🎉
@Rockjamify
@Rockjamify Месяц назад
@LifewiddiJamFams Fortunately, I am not urgently needing residence in Jamaica. However, from a construction rate recently obtained, the cost of building a certain square footage house is far cheaper than those advertised. I think the cost advantage Jamaica may enjoy is in the maintenance cost for what is considered a luxury community. In the U.S., such monthly fees can be the same as the monthly mortgage, making the cost of a home in those communities twice as much. It won't be long before Jamaicans find that out, and upwardly adjust their maintenance fee. I feel sorry for anyone who doesn't know a good, honest contractor to 'build on own land' for them.
@LifewiddiJamFams
@LifewiddiJamFams Месяц назад
@Rockjamify As long as it is a reputable builder then all should be well. Many Jamaicans, in the locality and Repats, do not live in gated communities. They live in housing estates, suburbs etc. There really isn't that many gated communities across the length and breath of Jamaica. It means that people coming back don't need to consider additional cost outside of land tax and there own property maintenance. 👍🏾💯💎

Every country has their immigration rules and that's Jamaica's on the basis of her immigration status. Therefore, she has gone about applying and ensuring she is complying with the rules. What are the rules where you life, if outside Jamaica?

You heard what you wanted to hear for whatever reason. But she didn't say 3 months, she said she has to renew her permit every 3 years. She has to do that until she reach the qualifying years for her to receive her permanent or citizenship status. Every country has their immigration rules, so this isn't something hard to understand. You think Jamaicans (or anyone else for that matter), doesn't go through the same thing in other countries?

@Nazarene_Judaism The problems with which Jamaica is faced can be solved by Jamaicans. It requires so collaboration, collective responsibility, group economics and working for the greater good of the nation and future generation. There isn't a single problem in Jamaica that Jamaicans in Jamaica and the diaspora cannot solve. 🤔🧐

People the keys for living in Jamaica is to have an established source of survival what does all these people have in common they have a RU-vid channel.this is an income by itself.its take hard work and band your belly if you choose to go back home because realistically you can go home with the little you save but winded up broke.so you have to have an income of survival.

People who are moving back home are definitely making a considerable amount of sacrifice to realise their ambition. Wherever we are living we need an income stream to afford the living costs and it is absolutely worth exploring what that will be when deciding to move to Jamaica.

@@LifewiddiJamFams that what I'm saying.its not just move back home and don't have something to live off.jamacia will always be home for me but it takes sacrifices and a mindset to know of way to survive while living there.dont get me wrong I would love to come home but me no have nothing here or down there . paycheck to paycheck you pay more Bills than what you make in america.so what I'm saying people have to understand that coming back home you have to establish your self.before that big move.

@msgrace5176 It seems we are in agreement. People moving back need to give though to the process and figure out what they'll be doing because the cost to do so is great. They need to plan it and work the plan. All the best with your move back plan... 🙏🏾
