The Immortal Iron Fist Orson Randall makes his live-action debut!
Once a generation, the Seven Capital Cities of Heaven align on a plane far beyond the ken of mortal men. It is here that these cities send their Immortal Warriors to compete against one another in a combat tournament to end all tournaments.
The Book of Iron Fist, written on parchment made from the dragon scales of Shou-Lao the Undying, tells the life stories and kung-fu secrets of every man and woman ever to hold the mantle of the Immortal Iron Fist - except one, Orson Randall, the Golden Age Iron Fist, and he died as he lived: trying to outrun the Iron Fist legacy.

I'm going to say this loud and proud. This short film is GREAT. The action puts the Iron Fist show on Netflix to shame, and if this had a patreon donation to make this a series on RU-vid or Hulu so Disney can't get their hands on it, I would gladly donate. In the short time he is on screen, Christian Howard does a fantastic job playing Orson Randall, PTSD, one liners, badassery on all accounts. Make this a series right now.

It really does.. My brother and I were laughing when we saw who they cast as Iron Fist. The minute I knew they were doing the street level heroes to ultimately do The Defenders, I thought Christian Howard was going to be Iron Fist. The dude they picked looked nothing like him.. I modeled the main character of a martial arts themed comic after Howard. I had called it "Shura".. My friends and I made a little game of it in our last year of high school.. It was a brawler or "beat-em-up" type, we got it to look like Guilty Gear (PS2 graphics). 2 years ago I heard kids still played it, which was awesome.. We never got to finish it. I'll be redoing the comic and game (this time finish it lol), after the current project being worked on.

The one-against-many choreography was excellent. It never felt like the bad guys were just lining up, waiting their turn. I liked the head-butt on the 2nd guard, it felt like something Orson would do. I thought I caught flashes of "District B13" and "Equilibrium" in there. Outstanding work. Put me down for another chapter.

With Iron fist being one of my all-time favorite comic characters, this was extremely well-done. I can sense the passion that was put into this project. This is why fan-made films will in some ways always be better than higher-budgeted projects.

I agree that Netflix did a subpar job of the REAL IRON FIST and that would be a great title for this one. I can see that the creators of this short understood that the Iron Fist is a living weapon!

I agree, fan films aren’t typically made with any kind of agenda - they’re made to show appreciation and love for a character or series and that already puts it one step above Hollywood which unfortunately is about money :/

One of the best Marvel characters but clearly underexploited. I really recommend Ed Brubaker and Matt Fraction's Iron Fist, a gem. Which is no longer even available in France!

DAMN! This is on par with some of the Daredevil fight scenes or some fights in Punisher and that is saying alot! Geez, if this hit Netflix, it would have been up there as one of their better shows.

I have one complaint about this short film....TOO DAMN SHORT! This is exactly how Danny Rand should be and it is exactly how the IRON FIST should be portrayed.. Netflix just got shamed and out done! Rogue Origin Films did an amazing job with this and I want MORE!!!! It was instant addiction !

@@RogueOriginFilms I just saw this short film based on Iron Fist and I loved it too. I'm writing a proper Iron Fist show that would feature all the kung fu action. Its a ten episode season 1 Iron Fist show. My take on the show is very focused on Danny Rand and his upbringings as he tries to understand what its like to be the Iron Fist. If it was ever made, I'd personally want somepne like you guys to do the fight choreography. I also have Kirigi as a secondary antagonist in my pitch of Iron Fist. I'm still writing episode 6 so far but getting there. Plus it doesn't have the excessive boardroom meetings we got now.
