What Tech did in this song a band you've probably haven't heard named Fugazi wrote a song 'Suggestions'. Its written from the point of view from a women's everyday life. Its not as dark as Tech's song but in the end it makes one think: We need to take care of our women and speak up against the violence and creepy shit that happens to them in their everyday.
Dance with the Devil is NOT a true story, Immortal Technique said in an interview. The man would never do something like that. He wrote the song because he wanted to explain how much women in the black and Latino community are taken for granted and abused. He said it took him three years to write the song, but it’s all fiction.
Sneak and Bacon tv Glad you guys liked it. React to You Never Know by the same guy Immortal Technique. Dance With the Devil is a top song of all time but You Never Know is my favorite by him. The only song by him that competes with Dance imo. It's a storytelling song just like Dance but it's less brutal/grim and more sad and tragic. Gonna sub to ya'll
Home girl caught on to the melting pot reference. That’s what’s up. One of my favorite lines. There’s no diversity because we are burning in the melting pot.
The reaction vids on this song are funny af. Click on it, watch it for a couple of seconds to see how happy everyone is then immediately skip to the last verse to see everyone with their jaws on the floor. Lol
one of my favorite lines is "A hardcore **** is all he ever wanted to be And so he met them Friday night at a quarter to three" 3 am being supposedly the hour of supernatural demonic activity and what it will cost him to be hardcore ! Immortal technique is an absolutely brilliant wordsmith
That right there is a lesson in life for any wanna be thug. If the devil asks you to dance, you better say never, coz a dance with the devil might last you for ever !
If I could like this reaction more I would. Y'all didn't say shit until it all hit you and even then you let immortal finish. much respect.for that. Hard song to get through for most others. Honestly good choice guys. Such a heavy hitter .
I always pictured the moaning in the first two hooks is foreshadowing the mother seeing her son moaning with her broken jaw. You can see this is a possibility as he is about to kill her/ sees her the chorus changes to Prodigy sample that says: "I fallen and I can't turn back". This is dark, but it is really good story telling and what I consider art. It just makes you not want to say it is because how dark it is, but what I always thought: If a character makes you feel emotion, then he is essential to the story. Immortal Technique also admitted this never happen but more focus on the grim reality that does happen to people and their human nature.
Also the men knew exactly what they were doing, and it says at the beginning him getting into the crew is an addiction just like crackheads and their pipes and needles. Originally he was going to be raping her but then they took advantage of him and realized they could get rid of him and his mother, so they wanted him to kill one of the only people who cared about him; because he squealed like it said earlier in the story. They were cold men and did it as revenge, his mother used to come home late for Billy, and now what was he worth? Nothing, just like her half-dead on the top of parking garage, and eventually fully when he jumps off and they kill her.
7:11 on the clock blew ERRRRbodys high, and they were stuck in a freeze frame till they thawed out. Sucked all the air outve that room. That's what this song does.
Nope not the mother part the rape does. The mother part was put in there jus to make a bigger impact on the song. But yeah I'm pretty sure you and everyone else knew what I meant so way to make yourself come off ignorant about hip hop and rape :)
Teflon Don nah I'm 25 yrs old man and you can't sit here and say people aren't out here getting raped everyday and that was the point of the song and my original comment. You're the one who decided to be ignorant and downplay rape and the message of the song by acting like I was saying people rape their moms all the time...or at least that's how you came off so you should really think about what you comment about subjects that can have negative effects on other people who may be victims of some serious shit like this. Just some words of wisdom from this kid lol
Sup Sneak&Bacon.... i have 7 request. ARTIST: Vendetta Kingz Songz : Corporate Espionage Too much knowledge The watchmen Coalition of kingz Nucular Babylon You're gunna pay Nature of the beast
Keep the videos coming !! Immortal Technique - leaving the past Immortal Technique - you never know Immortal Technique - Harlem Streets Immortal Technique - Eyes in the sky Straight Heat 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Immortal technique said in an interview that he can take you to the building where this happened in Harlem, he said the individual "Billy" that did it and the ones that were involved starting getting killed one by one and they even went as far as to kill the son of one of the individuals as well, however he also states this in a metaphorical way on how we are r*ping our own people every day , he forces you into a corner to show you the harsh reality of what real time is , it's so shocking because we try not to think of things like this although they happen every single day, great reaction! Cheers
Wow. This is my favorite song to watch reactions to. I love that you guys react but don't pause and respond to every line. "Let him finish, hold up let him finish." Respect
Could you imagine if we are all stuck in hell. Like the devil got tired of burning us and stuff and just plays with us in his game. Everyone whos born into this earth is just a soul who got sent here from a life they went wrong in. Thats why only the wicked rule.
Brilliant story but it would be better if u watched him singing it because the words were telling u what happened before he got to sing it. New subscriber here
He said "what would you do!" and the other guy said "wut would, first of all I wouldn't rape nobody but I would probably kill myself too" LMAO had me dying. Great reaction.
Great review. dance with the devil is a classic. Over 20 yrs. old and still nothing like it but that's classic Immortal Technique. I recommend "You never know", another classic just as good but in a completely different way and feel.
This girl is the only one to understand the melting pot reference that I've seen.. literally been waiting for someone to get that right in reactions to this song
You caught on real quick like I did back in 2003 when I heard it for the first time at 14 years of age. I miss when this kind of Rap for detail was the standard....Much props on the video....
I wonder if it was all intentional...he said 'those dirty bastards knew exactly what they were doing'...they also said before that he squealed when he was arrested..'theres always the wicked that knew in advance'
Song came out in 2001 and don't feel bad I hadn't heard it til just today, but that shit is a mind fuck and if this is what dude comes up with I'd hat to spend a day in his mind.
The whole thing is about life it self u make the choice to do what u really want to do in this place u wanna bang u gotta do some real shit u want that life be about that life but thier are test that are givin in life we all go through and we either take it or don’t
Ayyy yall the first reaction page to smoke L and do reacts ✊👌 i gotta follow yall And yes youre right about the melting pot concept thats actual facts 👍
He made this with a meaning behind it, the whole story is supposed to be like a metaphor to society's issues. Please react to more immortal technique, he is an incredibly talented poet. He hasn't dropped any new material in a while though cuz he's very busy, he's a prolific political activist, teaches history to youth in prison, etc
I referenced this song when I did an essay in college. When I was doing research, I found out the song was a metaphor on how we treat brown women in our community
nIGGAS only realizing this song now, smh.it came out years back lol. First heard it in highscHOOL, i WAS just as shocked. Listen to Techniques album,he has some great stories like these too
