Too much shanty shops along the road,the authorities should demolish and banned shanty shops,attachment along the road,move them to centralised areas like farmers market, say every kilometres and create walkways.These shanty attachment on roadside deface Nigerian cities.l do think the road is standard dual carriageway but the lack of shoulders or a walkway would reduce it to single lane on each section.What is the distance of the road,do you know?Thank you.

This road 🛣️ construction 🏗️ is totally unsafe. The road 🛣️ is very narrow, without walk way and covering drainage. Rochas Okorocha did well on this road 🛣️ from federal fire 🚒 service junction to ShopRite junction 8 lane, while Hope Uzodinma is doing only 3 lane from ShopRite to Mbaise why?

@@YangaLife ....what I meant by 3 lane is (1 1/2 left ◀️ and 1 1/2 right) that's how to measure it. Why governor Alex Otti of Abia State, is constructing 6 lane, from Umuahia end.

@@kabaka99 ....at least you understood that, from federal fire 🚒 service junction off federal road safety junction supposed to have Walk ways and wider road 🛣️. The after Emekuku, which is off Owerri, you can now narrow the road 🛣️ if you feel there's now money 💰 to continue with 6 or 8 lane.

The dualisation has only just started and you are already condemning it. Terrible. I think a great job is being done here. Leaving out the buildings and shanties along Egbu end of the road was quite thoughtful. Those are ancestral buildings. If they are destroyed, it's still you guys that will raise hell and condemn the Government for not having a human face. Leaving it that way was good thinking. The rest of the road will be great on the completion. Kudos to Governor Uzodinma.

@kabaka99 I don't support mediocrity like you local guys .if government wants to construct road, they should do it in a modern way,a federal road for that matter. With good drainages ,this place is not village. Not from Owerri but if I see governor of south east doing something right, I will appreciate it. See how Otti is constructing Osa and porthacourt road in Abia State. The two roads have standard drainages with solid constructions from two different companies.

That Hopeless Uzodimma fellow has not done anything in Imo state for almost 5 years. The urban roads are in various stages of disrepair. Even Okorocha he loved top denigrate managed to expand Owerri, widened the roads and built new structures. Name me one single thing Uzodimma has done for the city. Nothing except the farcical renaming airport road after tinubu. He can at least redeem himself by reconstructing the current airport terminal with a befitting structure and replacing the various shanties in the airport with a single, modern shopping mall.
