does it have any built in battery? like, if someone just disconnect the power cord it immediately stops recording anything? I want a good camera for inside my garage. what would you recommend?
Thanx for the review. I'm sure it is great, but I've bought an old one- Ranger Pro as its kind of old and should be stable for its support and set up.. Would appreciate if you also have a review on this product
Hi Ivan - thank you for watching and your comment. I did a quick Google and saw that many Imou cameras are supported by Blue Iris. Specifically, I saw the Ranger series is supported so I would imagine the Rex would also be compatible. I'm not 100%, but Imou would be able to give you a better idea. They look to be very similar. There are quite a few Ranger models, so make sure you are comparing the 4mp Ranger to the 4mp Rex. If nothing else, the Rex comes with a siren and spotlight for the additional premium.
