Last week, U.S. Army Spc. Jessica Kwiatkowski conducted her final walk at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The first female infantry Soldier to earn a Tomb Guard Badge, Kwiatkowski served at the Tomb for 23 months. 🎥 Jamie Mahon
Arlington is a national treasure, a place all Americans should visit. Thank you for your dedication to our country, Spc. Kwiatkowski. May God be with you, Always.
Tomb guards are on duty 24/7/365, regrdless of the weather. For a soldier, being a tomb guard is as pretigious as an assignment to the Thunderbirds in the Air Force or the Blue Angels in the Navy and Marine Corps.Well done, Specialist! Carry on!
Very proud moment!! Congratulations young lady...well earned!! Thank you to all the soldiers who carry out this eminent tour of duty with professionalism and dedication!!
During my time in the Army, I only seen one Tomb of the Unknowns badge, and it was a soldier at Fort Drum, NY who earned it. God bless the infantry. 🇺🇸
Just outstanding Jessica! You make me, our Army and our nation proud. You're sharp! Your steadfast professionalism, dedication and loyalty all show in what you've done at the TUS. That's a lot of miles on that mat! I wish you all the best!
Every time I watch videos I get a little emotional as it reminds of when I was stationed at Henderson Hall as a young Marine and would go to the Tomb of the Unkown Soldier and was amazed at how spit and polished the Old Guard was.............Semper Fi
That is one magnificent young soldier. That Guard badge is one of the rarest in the entire US military and the discipline it takes to get it is way beyond lost people.
Please advise….I thought only men can be in the combat arms….infantry….and then I thought only infantry could be selected as tomb guards. As well the selection process included a height requirement?
Find all these videos inspirational and have nothing but respect for the honor guards. I do wonder what the future holds for them after they leave this service. Do they go to a different function in the military or do they retire into private life?
OK - I'm old and just don't get it anymore. One of the most important memorable events in this woman's life and her family shows up dressed like they were going to a BBQ at the beach? Shorts, no socks, hoody, sweatpants.... seriously? Wow, I just don't get it. Pajama bottoms and bare feet for shopping and travel, but come on - show a little respect.
"Impactful"? someone's speech writer is moonlighting for Arlington. Shame on you ANC, you should be above this kind of thing. Soldiers are doing what soldiers do, God Bless em but whoever is doing utube for ANC needs to take a walk on the grounds and get some perspective. signed E12O6
