I use it at high sensitivity- setting #9, with a transducer piezo mike on the bottom of a stand-mounted realfeel practice pad. And into an iRig adapter. Works super clean and well!! It’s like a next generation Korg Wavedrum indeed!
I'm going to get this app back out and have another go at it. Thanks for the great demo. I like a little bit of inspiration first thing in the morning!
Yeah, fantastic demo! I make most of my music in the canteen at work during breaks, and when travelling by bus and train. So, not the most practical app for me, but still pretty awesome.I could always make some loops at home I suppose! Now there's a radical idea......
You can get same results as in vid just by tapping iPad case or anything close by in fact I've had rhythm generated by conversation from another table in coffee shop as mic can be very sensitive
I find that the app performs poorer since going from the ipad 3 to air 2. Lower sensitivity from mic and latency which I have set to highest. Also, all my recorded loops I made in the ipad 3 are gone. I did copy everything from the ipad 3 that was backed up.
is there an app that does the same thing (use the microphone) but has midi record (so it can be imported into cubasis for example and use another drum kit) or realistic drums? Thank you
It is a great app... However to play with it alone is good. If you play or improvise with more musician in a live situation it is difficult, because the iPad microphone is catching all other sends and noises.
To solve the problem you can use also external mics and audio interfaces. Also iRig acoustic on your guitar is a very good choice. The problem I found today is only the compatibility with audiobus 3 and other apps. It crashes everywhere. Let me know if you find a solution.
