Since the fall of Septim Dynasty, it can be argued that it’s not as legitimate without the Blessing of Akatosh such as the Amulet of Kings. Yes I know the Amulet is destroyed to help Martin save Tamriel from Mehrunes Dagon. How to make Speech worth it in 2 easy steps: 1. Convince Ulfric and Tulius/empire to go into a temporary team-up, making war against the Thalmor easier. 2. After said war is won, convince a peace treaty to be made: Skyrim rejoins the empire peacefully but Talos worship is unbanned and Ulfric gets support from the empire to become high king. All the races should be allowed to form their own Independent States/Kingdoms, in their respective home provinces (Orisinium would become like a city state), and then they should all form a Coalition with free trade and mutual defense agreements to fight off Bandit/Pirate lords etc. or another potential invasion from Akavir or some other existential threat (eg. A 2nd Oblivion Crisis) But lets be honest Men and Mer will never sort out their differences, the bad blood just runs too far deep into their history.

The Dominion leaders, the Thalmor, literally want to end reality to rejoin God. That pretty much negates everything else about them.

High rock all the way!!!!!! Seriously though, can you make more Breton lore videos please! I feel there is so much to explain about elf/ human relations. I also have my own theories about the Bretons and how they weren’t as peacefully excepted by the elves as we think. For a race that was trained under the elves in the use of magic they would have a similar aptitude for it, not a resistance to it. You only gain a resistance to something that is used to hurt you. Also, why would they be so highly trained in the conjuration arts?

I won't get into who I think is "best" to rule but I definitely think the Dominion ruling would make for a very interesting climate for the next game.

The Direnni Hegemony, the Chimer, the Ayleids, the Falmer; they all have something in common - disappearance. The Night of Tears, the enslavement of the Proto-Breton Manmer and Cyro-Nedes, the Betrayal of Nerevar, and the eventual arrogance of the Third Aldmeri Dominion are all/will all be prime examples of the Aldmer rightfully reaping what they sowed.

What I can imagine happening is that the Dragonborn from Skyrim (The player) after all is said and done, could take up the mantle of Emperor and do a 'tiber septim 2: electric boogaloo'. I mean, there isn't really a reason saying that they can't (Unless you side with Ulfric). They're dragonborn, surely that must have some birthright within the empire to lead and to rule. After all, their empire was founded by a dragonborn and prospered most under the rule of a dragonborn.

I always wondered why the aldmeri dominion wanted hammerfell. Even if they had taken hammerfell the Redguard would not tolerate the high elves in their lands

Is the Dragonborn a soul gem of sorts? If captured souls go to the Soul Cairn, and the Dragonborn captures souls of dragons, what does that imply about the relationship between the Ideal Masters and Akatosh?

Obviously the Khajiiti are the superior governors! At one point in their history, they had dozens of little kingdoms co-existing PEACEFULLY for CENTURIES in the same province! That's an incredible feat.

Watching this while playing as a high elf girl who was found in an abandoned camp by a nord commander who went on to raise her as his own. She has joined the stormcloaks and her father is very proud of his dragonborn daughter.

If you think about it, pretty much every elven dynasty in Elder Scrolls history has fallen either due to arrogance, internal strife or just severely underestimating the enemy: the ayelids, the snow elves, the dirreni hegemony. I give the dominion a century before their empire ends up falling flat on its arse if they end up winning the second great war.

I'm going to have to disagree on this one. As I've noticed from these videos you seem seem to kinda gloss over anything relating to Aryenn's character that's been expanded upon from Elder Scrolls Online. In it she's shown to be very complex, same with most if not all of the high elves whom I would think would've made much better leaders compared to the empire and a genocidal madman like septim who I've felt had the mindset of molag bal to be honest. Some of the things you've also not mentioned are the planemeld, the soulburst, Varen's part in it, Mannimarco's return or how Aryenn's forced to see her own older brother die in a senseless quest for power after her own sister in law become the veiled heritance queen. How she struggles to put together an alliance capable of withstanding the struggles of the challenges nirn faces, her own words. And then of course her same brother comes back as a lich which doesn't help matters either, she's also tortured by a certain Imperial sorcerer named Tharn who happens to be a bootlicking toadie for a very nasty sorcerer same one who was responsible for the soulburst in fact. Doesn't help that when the vestage tries to get her and every other leader to table to parlay all the other leaders refuse to cooperate as well.

Are we going on each of the Aldmeri Dominions, or just the Third Aldmeri Dominion? Course same would be said about the Empires, since there were many. If the former, then most definitely, the First Aldmeri Dominion, course can also say that of the Empire, since such empires like Reman and Septim. A divided question, but personally I would pick the Aldmeri Dominion.

Stormcloaks with Empire would be the best army

Not all high elves are Thalmor. Take Skyrim, most Altmer are farmers, merchants, mages, etc. The Thalmor is the controlling political entity in the Aldermi Dominion. Just like the Nazi party were the controlling entity in Germany. However, being German does not mean being a Nazi. Most players miss this distinction and hate all Altmer.
