Buy a an older mini mill when you sell the tormach. You should be able to find one cheap were you won't have to take on more debt. We got a 2001 mini mill for the same price as what we sold our tormach for. It makes about 5 times what the tormach made. It made it a lot easier to grow the shop when it was first starting.
That's what I'm thinking right now. A Minimill would be a good compliment for the OM. Having a CAT 40 machine would be a good compliment to the teeny tiny taper on the OM.
What's the best place to finance a used machine? Is there any lenders that understand the value of machines? I feel like my local bank won't recognize the worth of a used mill lol.
Finding a local bank is generally the best option if they will work with you. Haas financing is FANTASTIC if you are buying a Haas. For Syil or Tormach, Geneva Capital is by far the easiest, but they don't have the best terms.
