So what is exactly the difference between rate of force production & power?

Power is force x velocity for example moving a object with 200N of force in 5 seconds gives power output of 1000W. RFD is only looking at first 250ms of a movement and it looks how quickly you can generate force in that specific time period whereas force isn’t looking at rate of change more so ability to move heavy things quickly :)
