I had to listen to this 6 times just to understand 10% of this entire video 😌 although I still feel I've accomplished something

Dude read essentials of strength and conditioning, this is a textbook, after that you will understand about 99% or more!

32:30 this is the start of the summary. You're welcome. ;) This is actually a good talk. Do this while you are running and you will have both muscle and brain exercise.

I’m a hybrid athlete (strength and endurance is needed in most swimming events) and can’t squat 2 times my bodyweight. I do however would like to work up to that as a goal after my competitive career.

It sounds like you are interested in personal trainer certifications. Here is more info about what the NSCA's Certified Personal Trainer credential offers: www.nsca.com/professional-development/professional-areas/personal-trainers/ Here is some info about the NSCA if you would like to get to know us better: www.nsca.com/about-us/about-us/

Practice doesn't make perfect, it makes permanent. Learned this when I was 15 at the national ballet school of Canada. Good shit.

i really enjoyed the talk, but it would be nice if the video spent a majority of the time showing the slides instead of the speaker. I could care less what the speaker looks like. He is talking about the slides but you can't see what he is talking about.

Been always saying that if you can't squat twice your bodyweight, you shouldn't advice others on how to squat. This kinda proves that I've been right.

Mikko Tourunen under 2xBW means not strong enough to focus on power training and strength maintenance in strength athletes. Not that you don’t know technique :p
