Why do I do this? Like.... Really? Why? It's all here - no real tech advice but for those also in the industry, love me or hate me, we need to put up with the same shit.
before this channel i didn't even know how to change a hop rubber, now im confident enough open a v2 box an fuck I've just dropped the anti reversal latch on the carpet somewhere
@@richy1666 I can speak from experience... it's not really any easier on tile. Those springs will shoot in the most random direction and place on tile vs at least you know the spring is within a 3ft area on carpet. lol
"No is a full sentence". Some of the best advice I've been given. I'm also still raging about that "brand new" G3 from that retailer that was 2 different colours!
Maybe i cant trust 100% anybody, but i rather trust someone who says "dont buy the most expensive shit, you dont need it", and im so happy i did it, it saved me lots of money, it keeps me entertained, and its not an easy tutorial, but i have found almost all the answers, tips and advice i needed by watching your videos. I dont hate HPA, i think its a really really good system, i just hate the hose, so im plannig on a build with a mechanical engine and one of those stock tubes with a co2 cartridge in it, it is cold and rains a lot where i live... i want a gun i dont have to worry about if it is wet or soaked 20 minutes after the game started.
Completely agree about the MWS.. glorious gun... also only changed stuff when it breaks. So far only the nozzle return spring & the nozzle guide broke. Upgraded hop bucking & inner barrel... hits a coin in 80 yards.
You saved me from buying a VFC MCX. I really wanted to buy one, when I first saw it, was starting to save money for it and then saw your vid. Got a Retailer upgraded East Crane with v2.5 GB in it instead and am very very happy.
You’re so right on cleaning. I cannot tell you how much money I’ve made by buying “broken” KWC 1911 co2 pistols, cleaning them, doing a hop mod, and flipping them for twice what I bought them for. They are always the dirtiest guns I’ve ever seen, because people use cheap shitty Crosman cartridges that are full off dust and have a thick piercing plate that breaks the puncture needle. I highly recommend cleaning and lubing guns after every game day. Great video!
CYMA Platinum stuff really is great... Even better if you get one that's been worked on by EMG. At least my experience has been really easy and smooth. Only thing I've changed is the hop-up, rubber, and barrel. It's so smooth and quiet. Only thing I'm worried about is the microswitch melting off the board eventually, but I think they solved that issue before the model I have was released. I got it thinking, "the moment this switch melts off, I'm putting in a Perun hybrid." A year later, I'm still some how using that original CYMA microswitch.
Totally with you on hpa. Used by people, kids for the best part, who believe spending lots makes them better. It's nothing like reality, and we're playing a game reflective of soldiering, not how can I seem to be better than the next guy because I spent twice or 5 times more...
What retailer at 6 minutes? I feel like I should know the answer. That's pretty shoddy cutting springs given the minimal cost of them. Oh also, Luke check out the new V5 Solink motors, I'd love to hear your thoughts on them, no anti-reversal latch - paired with a helical gear it has the potential of being ridiculously quiet.
Last Sunday, I fired an hpa gun for the first time ever, and I didn't like the feel of the trigger. I don't remember what engine it had in it but the trigger just moved like half an inch and the gun fired. I like the feeling of having a mechanical trigger, part of the reason I'm not interested in optical mosfets. I know the Kythera has a mechanical trigger which makes it the only engine I'd buy if I ever decide to try out hpa. I just like the feeling of being able to know the exact break point of the trigger
Totally on the money about the MWS. I own two and all I've done is change hop rubbers and one is a DMR. People are often curious why I have one as a DMR (and a gas bolt action) because, and I acknowledge it, gas guns are the least consistent platforms. However, it's fun, and that's the whole point of playing a game; to have fun. I also know how to take all my gas guns apart and maintain them all, because waaaaaay back in the day I knew a guy in the Navy with a WE SCAR-L and he said GBBRs are fine as long as you treat them like a real firearm when it comes to maintenance. I will say on the HPA thing, I agree with you there, even though it annoys me. I love HPA for bolt actions and DMRs because it's quiet, not because it can be trigger-spammed or have a stupid rate of fire and rule breaking, however I seem to be in the minority.
Not had chance to actually watch the video yet but very happy to say; that’s my AR that appears for the first 12 seconds! Can’t wait for it to arrive tomorrow!
It's nice to see that I'm not as bad a tech as some people are despite knowing I have a lot to learn. Have you worked on the pulsar s at all? The system sounds cool but the nozzle has given me nothing but issues with accuracy due to the terrible wiggle room it has. Out of 6 I've attempted to install, only 2 actually shot straight after tuning the tolerances.
I’ve got a TM MWS and a TM AKX. The MWS is brilliant, all I’ve done is upgrade the nozzle return spring, fit a federal concepts feda valve and put in a nub and it shoots bang on! The AKX is on a complete different level… it’s 10x better than the MWS! I’ve experienced no cool-down affects compared to the MWS and the recoil is so much harder
One of my oldest Airsoft gbbp is a 1911 and it’s still my go too side arm! You said to email you over IG for a custom, hopefully we’re friends at this point? What i want you to do is make the best M249 saw mk1 ever made, but the shopping just to Alaska is $120usd so to England must be more. I agree with you completely on gas rifles and know everything about them,i’ve broken down dozens of them. I guess Luke you just need to find something to fully customize something you have or can get for a normal price. With 178 full Gas blowback pistols and rifles i really would love an AEG,totally 80’s! But if you wanna throw in a rare GBBR in the deal i’m unequivocally willing to pay for that too! Money is no issue Luke,i’ll give you a card or whatever you need to order parts Crisis Ultra
22:15 as SOON as I heard American I knew where it was going and still had a good laugh! Also on the MCX thank god I didnt buy it, SO MANY neg. Reviews it crazy
I so appreciate your videos and humor, and I dont wanna mention how I respect your knowledge! Do you maybe know any tech in Scandinavia that you can recommend? We need more tech like you in EU!
so right on hpa. its all about how you can break the rules. people always trying to push the boundaries of the rules. people who want their gun shooting 0.5 fps under the limit. congratz bro, enjoy your extra 3 meters of range, hope you get that one hot day where its now 10 fps over the limit and have to fuck about for 10 minutes fiddling with your stupid tank and hose.
Hpa had so much potential biut it became the wanker cannon. A recoil system with reliable performance and a high pressure on stock tank ala fx airgun would be great. Same with the vfc 249.
@NegativeAirsoftTech Can I ask you a tech question? This is one of those House moments where I really can't figure out what is going on and after checking everything apart from swapping the gearbox I can't figure it out, I know what you're going to say, it's the gearbox then but I want to see if you can explain why from the situation.
base on your experience what is the strongest spring the cyma gears can use. most of the gunsmith i know they always change the gears and bushing otb :(
Thoughts on the concept of the Polarstar Kythera? I've been using it in an sr-25k boneyard rebuild, and have been loving the trigger feed-back. Working on making a co2 adapter that fits in the stock.
@@NegativeAirsoftTech Rewatched, and fair. I took your advice and bought a VFC MP5. If it's any consolation, I dropped my drill on my foot this morning.
yep pts tpm's have a lot of side to side play. in my case they worked in my cyma flawlessly but i also have a cyma bulgarian flashmag ( when i was using hicaps i used that mag with the included fakelite mag jungle taped to it) but i also own a lct rpk16. it only fits cyma's and the krytac. its actually the best mag for both but won't fit anything else like my lct however the polymer drum and cyma fakelite mags fit and so does the metal double eagle mag. and the fakelite is tight but it goes in. unfortunately becasue my cyma had an aster that likes to malfunction all of the god damn time, I caved and hpa'd it. if it was a part broke and i just need it changed out. the only guns i hpa or guns with horrible designs like the svd/svu and the pdr.
It just stopped working just before I played with it… well what happened?… I gave to my mate that had never played and the motor kept beeping every time the battery was plugged in then the battery blew up… that was your battery protection working (it was a Titan battery btw).
You c÷nt tell me how you get the v3 trigger to stay sorry I've been drinking but jesus the trigger pisses me off. I would also love to know what wires you use. I use alpha wire 16g ultra thin but it's very stiff
You ass lol so quick question i have a customer that brought back his ak saying the bbs "stop" shooting I had him bring it back and noticed his hop was all the way on but still can't get the gun to not shoot. Any ideas?
Personally i find people who dont follow "if it aint broke, dont fix it" very entertaining, when i hear them go "if i do X and Y the gun will fire 2000rps at 80m range, my pistol will be the best" Its a fuckin pistol mate we have them to look cool 90% of the time.
Airsoft upgraded are hit and miss. Stuff can work with other stuff, but not always. All internals differ slightly, and mesh differently. You find out over time. Listen, but don't blame others if things don't work. No one made you do it...
do you havev a new tattoo ? :O thx for a another video bro iam verry happy :) iam teaching from you thx to you for doing this :) you helped me a lots of time :) sorry for bad english still learnin :)
I used to work as a 2nd tech in a shop, and the main tech really doesn't like you. He also didn't like the fact i do some of the things you do and dont follow his stuff but i got alot less returns. Now i just do it on my own
You know if double eagle makes a mcx style at a affordable price like their current aegs then yeah..... I would buy one but atm vfc haha no I rather spend the £600 on other things like house stuff and double eagle m906 or m907 as they are a copy of vfc kac sr15 variants abd there much better then vfc and 80% less price of a vfc one
Because it's a konami code or a cracked/modded COD on pc that is 100% allowed to be used to play against people with unmodified & uncracked Xbox versions of the game. That's why. It's like a binary trigger, it's only there to circumvent site rules on full auto being disallowed or a countries law against full auto. It's a dick move & you can be dominated or join the ranks of the cheaters & get a modded gaming pc version of game & piss people off. End of.
@@NegativeAirsoftTech brother. The best build I ever had was an AEG. An upgraded CYMA with a Infinity 45k motor, into a Titan, into a short stroked 18:1 (by my count) SSG, pulling a M100 spring. Yes, the Titan got fried after 4 years of use. But, until then, it worked. And it was like god mode was enabled. The trigger was lightning fast. The bitch was fast at the point it won't feed normal mags on full auto. Prometheus purple hop rubber into the M flat nub provided laser accuracy. Like, you built speed builds. And I agree with you that they will eventually go to shit (like mine did). But until then how come that's different?
What the hell did you say? Speak to Pete they are fucking brilliant. What is the cylinder head? The pad looks pretty thick is it not to thick that you have to fuck with the 3rd to last tooth?
Oh shit I know Pete he makes the clips I've been trying to get him business here in the US with local retailers. If you get a chance check out ajax customs he has made some pretty cool stuff he doesn't get the credit for his parts he invented but a lot of the bigger companies have copied his Designs.
"The value isn't there, if you're not in Japan" When the people in suits who know better than us peons think it's a good idea to restrict all airsoft replicas to 1J ---- it's hard to beat TM for being the best at 1J. Just. Don't Improve it. Also. Cleaning down gas rifles is half the fun. Has the Nozzle on my Type-89 bent yet?
Filipino airsofters are hoots They rather buy 3 broken units for $100 each and take parts to make 1 unit that's pmost likely going to have problems spend months of ,time When they can just buy a novritsch
is HPA going to get airsoft shutdown in the UK due to dial-a-energy regulators? We don't really have that problem in paintball. refs actively chrono players throughout games and uh turning your shit up is a quick way to get a permanent ban from a field or event organizer.
