Here's why you don't buy second hand. 100% of what was advertised was not in the AEG & it "fell apart" once received from the seller so the seller 'fixed' it & dropped some money off.... but regardless, without 100% of the parts advertised his £200 budget was going nowhere near to making this what he thought he was getting & it barely worked. He can sell used the barrel & hop because I fixed the scuff & he can claw back some of the cost of the repair as those parts are worth twice what he paid for the barrel & hop I installed even at second hand value so long as he's honest. When a tune up becomes a repair. Buy used, risk getting screwed!
The issues, as I see em, are; 1) Too many fucking idiots in airsoft 2) Oversaturation of parts making it much easier to make shit choices & not understanding that things need to synergise which is normally a bit more than "set 'n forget" _side note: buying the same manufacturers parts doesn't guarantee it'll all work together_ 3) Too many scamming shitebags in airsoft 4) Too many cack handed cunts in airsoft 1) Too many fucking idiots in airsoft
This is what's made me cautious about buying second hand, unless I know them or they can be vouched for. I know you may be able to pick up a modified RIF for a bargain price, but sometimes, safer to just buy new, use it, then save up for have it done properly. Only Rif I've bought used, was an ASG spring shotgun with 5x 30rd shells for £15 at my local site's monthly boot sale, bought a few items of clothing and loadouts though. Guess not so bad if you can do the repairs yourself, but still annoying when you find out it is supposed to have £XXX amount of brand mods and they're not there.
I sell my stuff so cheap on the thought of who ever buys it can upgrade anything potentially failing and still get a deal , but because I sell cheap I get the worst kinda buyers
Buying a secondhand gun clearly results in an entertaining youtube video, thanks purchaser of the KWA for taking one for the team! I have a gun in the queue at negative towers, wondering if mine will become a tale of whimsy!
Honestly i like to buy broken/second hand guns for parts. Got a few cool rail systems, replaced gears for friends and even upgraded someone's reciever set from plastic to metal.
Thats my mind set too, and honestly i bought an AEG for 100, broke within a month bought a cyma V2 gearbox an hop unit now its a perfectly acceptable gun, not my best but it has outlasted 5 others.
Nice audio on the background, it really makes me remember ol' days when I was on my prime... A really bastard the seller, selling shit which it isn't there. Got a month ago from second hand market for around 20 pounds including shipment, an AK47 in parts in a huge box. I kwew it was in parts and I said f..k, I can lose 20 pounds and thats it, not going to bankrupt becaue of that. Well, it took me about a week to make it work - it was a CYMA 048 heavily painted, modded as hell and sector gear missing two teeth, a ridiculous long barrel for standard piston it had, had to shorten and recrown it at the end - but does not lock, does not jam, feed all the time, still a bit inconsistent but hey, 20 pounds not 200. Fixed it and make it a gift for my brother in law. I am still attached to my CYMA P90 stock, that one is going to stay with me, screw the rest, fix and flip them or better, make them gifts. Anyway, it would be me the gunsmith to fix them if they break again...
I run the same exact gun. It cost me so much to get it running right. I ended up getting a new gearbox for it so i could mosfet the gun. Try to get KWA parts in europe 😂
8:54 i'd probably caveat this with: unless you can tell the difference between a gate Titan and MERF. If he'd known, he would have had grounds to process a full refund from the guy he bought it from and avoid this whole situation. As for second hand sales; I've never had an issue with any RIFs i've bought or sold minus the odd attempted scam where I got my money back. You need to buy from trusted sellers who've had reported sales before.
find a cylynder, stick something in it that isn't a nice snug fit and wiggle it. Imagine that being operated by something going as fast as your gears and motor is set to.
@@BooJamesooB Springs move around under compression just like using your fingers to compress it. Unless your piston has an enlarged back end to comensate this, no it is impossible to maintain operation without any bouncing.
I bought something second hand that was worked on by a renowned tech. Completely lied about what he put in the build and charged for.. he completely denied it until I presented the evidence and then admitted he screwed up and apologised along with sending me funds to get it rectified.. genuinely worries me that he is still working on people's rifs..
If you want to get the paint off, you can put the parts on paint thinner and then with a brush remove the paint, as long as it os metal or nylon it wont melt haha
I buy second hand often.. from a retailer I trust who practically gives shit away when it’s dodgy. Grabbed a Hi Capa last year for 30 quid. Goes full auto the moment you drop the slide. No clue what make it is; being Chinese it’ll cost me f all to fix. I’m winning in the end. Buying someone’s goofy AEG just sounds like trouble waiting to happen; what leg have you to stand on, legally?
Every time someone shows me their upgraded KWA it comes with a story of what they did to make it work, like how it worked brand new out the box before they did anything to it. SMH, Right.
