Importing CSV (Excel) Coordinates into QGIS

I have been trying so hard to figure out why I couldn’t get my points onto my map, trying all kinds of spatial joins, editing the .csvt file to make attributes integers-everything. I found this video and realized oh my god I put the longitude values on the y-axis and latitude on the x-axis! Thank you!!!

I was overwhelmed by the quality of specialized tutorials on this channel. You are doing a wonder work. I wish these videos have a longer version which is a composition of all these shorter ones joined together to create a single video. It's the trend now so that some of us who find it difficult to move from one video to the other will learn from a single extended video. These days it's common to see videos of over seven hours. When I import ths CSV file, the table is not separated. The columns of X, Y coordinates go to one column. Why is that happening? I have made the original excel table like yours

I'm working with GPS data in CSV format but i need to track a moving object offlline, if my CSV formar data is constantly updating can i export that to QGIS to see a "real-time" change? I know python and i think that i can make it work with that. Thanks

I do appreciate all of your videos. I have successfully imported a CSV file, but when I try to export to a SHP or KML file format I receive a task failed message - looks like permission denied. Export to vector file failed. Error: Creation of data source failed (OGR error: Failed to create KML file 911 data.kml: 911 data.kml: Permission denied) Is there something else that needs configured?

Hi thanks for the nice video but unfortunately when I do it the exact same way my qGIS does not let me Add my CSV file. The Add button is grey and if I wanna change the geometry definition for the x and y fields I can not change them to longitude and latitude, do you know where I am going wrong?
