I knew a white guy like this. He was 5'10 and had incredible hops. He was also a high jumper in HS and college. Did every dunk you can think of, but he couldn't play basketball worth a damn.
That's not the same if he were in hong Kong dunking is so rare here compare to the US that people are gonna be fired the heck up if they see someone doing a windmill dunk
+Gilbert McGillicutty No shit... this isn't an inspirational video its just a video of some kid who's so full of himself he thinks the rest of us would be just as impressed.
if only...i'm just a kid who purchased is dream to become a dunker! If I was impressed by myself, I wouldn't still dunking! its for the love of the game and dunking is a lifestyle !
whats up man! im now 5'10, and doing slam dunks, without self ally oops! self ally oops are still hard for me, but if I learned, i'd being doing crazy dunks like you. and dude, you don't know how much this video motivated me to start training to dunk! thx man!
Guys dont get all upset but Some of these rims aren't 10ft. A lot of outdoor rims aren't usually 10ft. You can tell the difference in a lot of his jumps and basic dunks and "style" dunks. Especially for his height the proportion of his entire body to the actually rim just looks unofficial on a lot of these dunks...lol on a 10ft rim he may the most get a half ass windmill. Just speaking the truth
Damn Dunkfather!!! I want to know your workout routine.I'm 6'0 and i barely touch the 10 foot rim.Awesome job love love the video.Mad dunk over the car...love it.
Because 5'9 guys often claim 6 foot as their height and people believe them, so when you ask someone to guess a 5'9's height they'll often guess higher than the real height.
your amazing bro! but i had a question regarding knee pain? have you ever crossed patellar tendonitis or jumpers knee during your training? if so what have you done and did it go away? thanks much! looking forward to your response!
Great technique on the dunks. Notice he doesn't get way above the rim-- just enough to throw it down. But he can still spin, windmill, and go between the legs. Really impressive.
Ahhh man. Very nice video and brilliantly done. But this is so bitter sweet to watch. I was a 90´s kid and could dunk when I was 170 cm tall and almost 14 years old. But I literally have no proof of that on tape , cause cameras weren´t that common in Iceland in those days:(
You are really amazing... but are these 10 foot hoops? Don't understand me wrong, I think you can easily dunk on 10 feet but these rims seem to be lower..
I hate the multiple self oops but this kid can really go upstairs!!! lots of props dude, 2 leg, 1 leg hops, you got it down baby ! haha congrats, hope u keep uploading sick shit like this
I'm 6'7" now, but when i was younger and shorter prob like 5'11 i could get head over rim. You gotta be naturally athletic because i'm a lazy shit who never exercised or practised. Had these American Christians coming over here to Ireland to teach basketball and the word of god. They were skillers and stuff, couple weeks and they were getting their asses handed to them by 14-15y old Irish boys who never played basketball before. Main advantage was almost everyone of us could dunk regulation height. They played with the nets lower to make it even 😂
I've been to the park.. That's not ten ft.. If it was he would hang in the air slightly longer unless he's really 6'6 or something.. He gets to the rim way to fast to be his so called height.. I've seen short people dunk all my life and it's like there flying because how far the rim is from there outstretched arms.. I'm 6'1 and in my best day I could throw down like crazy but I still needed more air then this guy is getting.. Rim is 9ft that's why the camera is way back so it's hard to tell sry.
I dont know man. He's clearing a lot of those guys he is jumping over. Even if they are just his height, that means he is jumping high enough to get the top of his head about 9 feet high
So, each time someone do something amazing, you tell him who was better than him and that's it ? The fact that a NBA legend is better than him don't really bother me ...
I was 5'7" and 140 pounds when I graduated high school and I could slam dunk with either or both hands, since I was a 5'5" junior. I was on the high school and air force track teams, long jump and triple jump. I continued to grow until I was 24 years old... stopping at 5'10". I could slam dunk all the way until I turned 40, when the I went over 200 pounds. Can still touch the rim (10') now in my 50's and at 245 pounds. I bet it I lost weight to about 180 I could dunk again. That means lots of running and bicycling in store for the next year. Now that's a goal.
Great compilation! Boosties turned to MAX. I didn't see in this vid any explanation as to how you got ups (unless you were always a high flyer). I have a couple actual explanations of how I went from touching rim to dunking in just a couple weeks.
What training do you do? I've started skipping as much as possible and jumping for height when I can, but I can never fit a full plyo workout into my day.
Unreal. I'm 5'10" and want that vertical ahhah. I'm going to start on some training methods to get there. Would be pretty cool just to be able to jump things like you did this long ago
He was my dbl ball coach when i was in 4rd grade. He showed us his dunking skills on the tallest student, with a broken finger. The school was called Ecole primaire Pierre-Laporte in greenfield park to make you guys know its true.
this is freaking awesome. I mean, I can dunk, but I haven't learned a self ally oop. and, simply I cant jump as high you, but I can still dunk though. I have a hard time though, im only 5'7
