Hi from the One Handed Maker. Thanks for watching my video and do me a favour by clicking the like button 👍, subscribing and clicking the notification bell 🔔 to help me on my RU-vid journey.
Wow, you do more with one arm than I could do with ten. It's an absolutely beautiful piece of furniture and a wonderful video to explain your amazing workmanship.
Thanks Frank, What a great comment to receive and I appreciate the time you took to watch the video. Sometimes, I wish I had ten arms as well, to tackle complex glue ups. Warm regards James
From a one-handed maker to another. Well done, beautiful work. You are a true inspiration. I felt at times I was looking into a mirror, making it quite spooky seeing myself through your eyes! Two- handed makers will never know! Graham NZ
Hi Graham. Outstanding comment, my friend and so good to meet you. Many thanks for checking out my channel and saying hello. I would love to see what you make and chat about how you work around one handedness. My email is in the about tab on my channel. Take care and talk soon. Much respect. James
Great build. My favorite part is the floating top and the way the top of the legs taper into it. That detail alone would have been enough to make a great piece, but your addition of those bent laminations took it to the next level. Inspiring work James!
Wow! Your creations and videos were a big part of motivating me to start my RU-vid channel. Absolutely love your work. It would be great to catch up one day. Kind regards James
Sorry, but you are not "normal"...in a positive manner. 😉 The projects, the cinematic, the kindness... 12 of 10 points. Keep it like it is and keep going as it is; you got a new fan from Germany Greetings Andreas
Thankyou so much for your amazing comment Andreas. I am still smiling as I write this reply. I hope to keep making and videoing so hit all the RU-vid buttons to see my projects. Love your comment!
Dont stop posting new videos right now. RU-vid seemed to pick you for there weird algorithm , this video randomly just showed up on my feed. You deserve to be up the wit the best woodworkers on youtube. I've been woodworking for 20years. #subscribed
Thanks for the support Steve. Interesting to know my video is reaching people like yourself. I hope to get a video out every 3-4 weeks although a recent holiday will hold the next one back a week or two. I will check out your channel as well. Regards James
I really appreciate your time to show us your skills and your masterpieces that you make, an apology for my english I am learning, thank you sir, and you got a new subscriber.
@@onehandedmaker Well, gotta tip my hat to you on that one. I'd love to record and edit a build but honestly I find the process so frustrating. Might be age related :)
@@onehandedmaker thanks. There aren't many wood working video's up there sadly. I'm working to change that at the moment but they will be published on a separate channel that will be dedicated to wood working topics. I probably won't get the new channel up and running until mid year but will put something out on my main channel when it happens.
Very impressive to be able to do all that with one arm, very inspirational. I find I could use a third arm sometimes when building but you make it work with one. Are there any parts of the building process or tools that give you issues? You earned my subscription and respect. Keep it up.
Thanks for your inspirational words Denis. I reckon clamp up time is when I stress the most about it all turning to manure, but so far I've got away with it. No special tools or jigs. Just a ton of patience. Take care James
Thankyou so much for your encouragement and support. I will be concentrating on more videos and improving the quality as I go so keep an eye out for them. Regards James
Amazing! Clever construction, well tought design and consistency: nothing Is impossible for a men like you. And when It's impossible, a Little CA glue and no One Will notice the trick. Chapeau!
You sir are a true inspiration! Really enjoyed watching you work through this process and I appreciate your diligence. Fyi, I don't have my own google account so I'm showing up as my wife! LOL I am a relatively new woodworker and look forward to seeing more of your content. Bob Loveric From central ny state in the USA 👍👍👍👍👍
What a great comment thanks Bob. So pleased you enjoyed the video and table build. Would love to see some of your work on here one day so keep on woodworking and thank Melanie for her account. James
Parabéns pelo belo trabalho. Demonstra que o perito, o ótimo professor, nos ensinará sempre, mesmo com as dificuldades da vida. Muito obrigaod pela aula aqui. Robertson (Brasil)
i dont understand how you have so little subs, i know plenty of carpenters who have much less dexterity with the use of 2 hands than what im seeing you do on the video.
Thanks Jirah. From what I've heard the first 1000 Subs is the hardest. I am happy to do what I love and the videos/RU-vid is just a bonus for me to share my passion. Thanks again. James
