it was the answer on mig-25 or 31...they didnt know what to await from it(massive planes) so the us put all their best knowledge and tech into the f-15...and still rock after some upgrades today. sme with the suchois and migs..
yes indeed this fighter has been modified . it has an outstanding record .i'm glad to see the new version of the F15E. which also has stealth capability but in a different concept of the F35. this fighter can fly 3000 kilometers without refueling
Awesome Video! I was working landscaping in missouri one day and 6 F-15 Eagles landed at a near by airport, refueled and took back off. The power of the F-15 eagle, the sound is amazing! The yard I was working at was about 2 miles away from the airport. and I felt the ground shake from the thunder of the afterburners! my buddy who was working with me was like OMG what is that. He never heard a fighter jet in person before, after that day, he was hooked LOL. God bless the men and women who fly these jets! God bless USA, Nato, our allies and Russia! We civilians who will not ever understand what it is like to fly in a fighter jet unless they give programs to civilians to pay for a flight in a fighter jet which i would pay anything to fly in an F-15!
I remember the time a B-1B escorted by Two Strike Eagles flew over my middle school, sounded like thunder and felt like an earthquake. I almost shitted a brick.
@@DrMSayer The sound of the JFS shutting off, the turkey feathers opening and closing and that seriously badass afterburner take-off will make my heart race for the rest of my life.
Man oh man that never gets old. Up until I was 20 or so they had the F15s here on MCCord Air Force base. I would se them up and about at least a couple days a week. The Portland Ore stole them away from us. Dang hippies 🤗 That was tough hearing they were leaving for good.
Het was zeer de moeite waard om even bij Volkel te gaan kijken. Naar mijn weten is de Strike Eagle nog niet eerder operationeel in Nederland geweest. Grtz.
Shortly afterwards they would have been back home at Lakenheath.. These must qualify as vintage aircraft now, but they still do sterling service. A shame they will be replaced by F-35s and not F-22s.
If there's anybody wondering why the AB goes out right after takeoff and comes back on, its because it's being sucked back to MIL or Min AB so they don't over speed the gears at 300KTS.
whats up with the double pumping of the fist in the cockpit... like.. all fighter pilots are doing that now... oh wait.. uh... that makes them cool. You're already flying a cool-ass plane, why do you have to "try" to be cool in the cockpit??
Oscar Banuelos SU 35s????!!! Are you serious. That bird is a piece of shit with its half analog shit in there, and on top of that they break easy , hard to service ete etc! Get fucked Oscar🖕
Oscar Banuelos - Sorry the Su-35 is not more advanced. The F-15E has a much better and more powerful radar and avionics that any Russian aircraft. Yes the F-35 is the most advanced and best multi-role fighter in the world. But the F-15E has proven itself to be the best 4th gen strike fighter in the world and it doesn't hurt that the F-15E can carry a massive payload. The reason I know this is because my older brother is a F-15E pilot.
I tried to join the Air Force to fly this very plane but I wear glasses and was denied back in 1989. Now pilots can wear them and fly jets. I was sorely disappointed. A fantastic aircraft then and even today. Long live the F15E!!!
Everyone says the F-22 is the best fighter, but that is only if the F-22 can stay out of visual range. For a straight up dog fight the F-15 is still king. By dog fight I mean the planes can see each other. The F-15 and the P-51 are the two greatest fighters ever made in my mind.
When i was stationed in Okinawa, sometimes I'd go down to Kadena to the west end of the runway and watch the afternoon MIGCAP take off on their way to Korea. I miss seeing that!
I can only imagine how loud that whirring actuator you can hear just before the last takeoff _is,_ when you can hear it OVER the sound of the engine. What is that? Based on the timing and a guess on sound delay, it looks like the nozzles pinching down as the plane throttles through military into afterburner.
how could something be scary as hell yet beautiful? something is strange about its looks, reminds me of the Russian Su-27 and its derivatives, F-15 looks muscular and the Su-27 looks like a ballet dancer...
They were never going to retire the "Strike Eagle" They were talking about the "C" and "D" versions of the F15, but the Generals were only bluffing. The air force wants more money. Even during hearing before congress, the Generals were embarrassed because congressman questioned the logic of replacing F15's with F16's. The have be upgrading all F15's to "Golden Eagles." A Congress woman who had been a pilot said, an F16 is a FINE multi-role fighter but it's not an F15! The Air force is now backing down off retiring ANY F15's...
if i were to upgrade the f 15 eagle i will put a good trick on it..i will install a defensive mirage shadow illusion on it hehhe and a special missile obliterator ..dog fight will be easy hehe
Because technology goes on and although the F15 is a brilliant fighter in this day and age there are better fighters, faster lighter and with better electronics & helmet mounted and the list goes on.
Pretty impressive! Cold War doctrine dictated that the USAF UPT syllabus required all students to train and be proficient in both the T37 Tweet and T38 Talon trainers. The T37 being the basic trainer and the T38 an advanced, supersonic type. During the Cold War, it was unknown what attrition ratios would unfold in the event of all out war against the Soviet Block. So, the Air Force reasoned that if ALL pilots were required to fly and train in the T37 AND the T38, then All pilots would basically be able to fly virtually any aircraft in the Air Force inventory. As a matter of fact, the F15 Eagle was/is considered one of the easiest aircraft to fly in its day.
I kinda thought that the new look would be the same to the old look but the weapon I thought it would hold 4 missiles on a pile on or whatever it is something like 2 on the outside and 4 on the inside missiles is what I'm taking about k people lol .
