Why is the "ni" particle used with ともだち in the 2nd sentence かようぴにともだちにあってえいがをみました?why isn't the "wo" used since ともだち is the direct object for the verbあって?
Just tuned into your video, I'm really struggling with Japanese, but I like numbers. You have 309 likes and 19 comments. These are important numbers! that's why I didn't want to give you a like. Spoils the numbers. Anyway, on with the video, I am sure it will be good!

I’m not sure but the particle “NO” represents either noun-NO-noun or possession. たくさん mean “a lot of” or many. ??? I am a beginner though, so let’s wait for Sensei’s response.
たくさん (takusan) works both as an adverb or a noun. So, both sentences below are correct. takusan shashin o torimashita. "I took pictures a lot" (takusan is an adverb here and modifies the action "took") takusan NO shashin o torimashita. "I took a lot OF pictures" (takusan is a noun here and modifies the noun "picture") I hope this makes sense!
