Master you are very strong in your punches and kicks. If anyone like me receive a single kick or punch from you that would be the final day for him on earth. Nicely explaining the technics and we are missing your personal teachings as I'm in India. Hats off to you Sensi. 👏👍🙏
Love! I do a version of all of these as was prescribed by my physio and from my dance background (specifically the adductor work). I would, highly recommended these strengthening exercises even as a warm up, dynamic movement before class.
The adductor muscles, on the inside of the legs. Strong adductors can help with the active range of motion and in helping to reduce injury risk. There will also be carryover to inside crescent kicks.
@@jkgardiner - I was just curious, I assumed it was more than necessary to keep from creating imbalances and injuries. Do you think 45 is too old to get the splits..and if not, how much stretching is required?
@@BaseBasvic it depends more on your hip structure and current level of flexibility, definitely not too old, and even if you don’t get a full split you are definitely able to make a large improvement to wherever you are now. Stretching consistently, 4-5 times per week for a few months will see a great improvement.
@@jkgardiner - right, I can already kick head-high, it’s not like I need to do the splits, I just think it would be awesome to be able to hold my leg out like Van Damme. It has always been in my bucket list as a martial artist, haha.. Thank you!!
There is no kicking form in this video, they are simply all exercises. In my other videos I’ve always mentioned technique needs to be correct first, but again, this video is purely demonstrating supplementary exercises. Muay Thai has more than one kick, what kick are you referring to when you say “Muay Thai kick”?
You think it’s children’s play to do supplementary exercises? So why does every professional level athlete in every sport do exercises outside of simply technique training?
